TUESDAY:

PSG V BAYERN MUNICH

This game might be a semi final, but it feels like a Champions League decider because I think whoever wins this game will win the competition.

PSG's journey in this competition this season has been almost the same as last season in that they needed to qualify via the play offs and have got better as the competition has progressed.

They showed that in the knockout rounds by hammering Chelsea in both legs in the last 16 before comfortably easing their way past Liverpool in the Quarter Finals.

Bayern Munich won this fixture 2-1 in the League Phase back in November courtesy of a Luis Diaz double before he was sent off later in the game.

That win will definitely give them a lot of confidence heading into this game alongside the recent form they're in.

But they will be expecting a tougher game in this one because of this being a knockout game and PSG will of course have Desire Doue available after he missed their last meeting due to injury.

Both teams will definitely score because of how strong they both are in attack and because I have Bayern down to win this competition, I'm backing them to go ahead in this tie and win by the same score line as they did earlier in the season.

PREDICTION: 2-0

WEDNESDAY:

ATLETICO MADRID V ARSENAL

Atletico Madrid managed to hold off a Barcelona comeback in the Quarter Finals and the last two times they've beaten Barca in the Champions League, they've gone on to reach the final.

Diego Simeone's side are back in a semi final for the first time since 2017 and this one will be their first at the Wanda Metropolitano as their last one was at the Vicente Calderon.

Their win over Barca in the last round has been their only win in recent games as they've lost their last four in La Liga and went out of the Copa Del Rey to Real Sociedad.

Their lack of form shouldn't affect them too much in this one because they've arguably done better in Europe than they have in the league and are at home for this first leg.

Arsenal beat Atletico 4-0 in the League Phase back in October when the two sides met at the Emirates with all four goals coming in the second half.

But they'll be expecting a more challenging game in this one because the Wanda Metropolitano is a tough place to play at because of the atmosphere inside the ground and when Atletico play there, they're usually very difficult to play against.

No one is expecting there to be many goals in this game because of how cautious both sides have been this season and how strong they are defensively.

I think both teams will score in this leg, but I also think they'll cancel each other out and take a draw into the second leg.

PREDICTION: 1-1
