FA Cup 5th Round Draw Verdict

The draw for the 5th Round of the FA Cup was made earlier today and there some interesting ties to look forward to next month.

This is what I think of the draw.

Non League Maidstone who knocked out Championship Ipswich in the 4th Round, have another chance to cause an upset as they'll be facing either Sheffield Wednesday or Coventry. After beating Ipswich, they'll fancy themselves to knock out another Championship side.

We could also have upsets coming from 4 or 5 Championship sides. High flying Leicester face Bournemouth, Leeds or Plymouth will be facing either Chelsea or Aston Villa whilst Watford or Southampton will be facing Liverpool. Bristol City and Blackburn could also have the chance to cause an upset with Bristol City potentially facing Man United, if they win their replay against Nottingham Forest and Blackburn potentially facing Newcastle, if they win their game against Wrexham.

We also have a couple of all-Premier League ties to look forward to with Brighton facing Wolves and Luton taking on holders Man City.
