GK: DAVID RAYA (ARSENAL) - Raya kept 3 clean sheets during January and made a number of important saves as Arsenal kept up their title challenge. The Gunners did drop off slightly during the month and if it wasn't for Raya, they might've lost top spot.
RB: NORDI MUKIELE (SUNDERLAND) - Mukiele has been one of Sunderland's standout performers this season and especially during January. He put in a good shift at both ends of the pitch in making key interventions defensively and offering a threat going forward by registering 2 assists.
CB: HARRY MAGUIRE (MAN UNITED) - Maguire out in solid performances right throughout January especially since Michael Carrick has taken over. He won his duels both physically and aerially and was a proper leader in the United back line. If he can keep playing like he was done, he has a chance of winning his place back in the England squad for the World Cup.
CB: NATHAN COLLINS (BRENTFORD) - Collins made key contributions at both ends of the pitch during January by popping up with a goal and 2 assists at one end and making vital interventions at the other. He's become an important player for the Bees this season by snapping out past mistakes and putting in some solid performances at the back.
LB: LUKE SHAW (MAN UNITED) - Shaw has been a player revitalised since Michael Carrick took over at Man United as he put in a good shift at both ends right throughout January. He's looked back to his best since returning to his more suited role at left back and if he can stay fit and in form, a return to the England set up should not be ruled out.
CDM: VITALY JANELT (BRENTFORD) - Janelt made key contributions in both departments during January by registering 3 assists going forward and getting back to make key interventions defensively. His contributions at both ends were key in the games that Brentford got points from.
CM: BRUNO FERNANDES (MAN UNITED) - Fernandes was back to his creative best in January as he registered 3 assists after returning to his favoured no.10 role. He continues to be a vitally important player for Man United and I'm not sure where they would be without him.
CM: ENZO FERNANDEZ (CHELSEA) - Fernandez is looking more like the player Chelsea spent all that money on three years ago as he's chipping in with goals and trying to make things happen in the midfield. He registered 3 goals and an assist during January with all of them coming in games where Chelsea picked up points.
RW: HARRY WILSON (FULHAM) - Wilson carried his December form into January by scoring 4 goals with only Igor Thiago scoring more during the month. His goals were key to Fulham keeping up their push for Europe and they'll be desperate to keep hold of him with his contract up in the summer.
LW: FLORIAN WIRTZ (LIVERPOOL) - Wirtz registered 3 goals and an assist during January as he finally settled into Liverpool and the Premier League following a tough start. January was a tough month for the reds in terms of results, but Wirtz still performed and showed why the reds spent all that money on him.
ST: IGOR THIAGO (BRENTFORD) - Thiago scored more goals than any other player in January with 5 with three of them coming against Everton at the beginning of the month. He's now on 16 goals for the season and if he keep up the current form he's in, Carlo Ancelotti surely has to consider him for Brazil call up.
