Could Kevin Schade be Brentford's new talisman if Wissa and Mbeumo leave?

Brentford are one of three clubs in the Premier League to have three players who have scored more than 10 goals this season and one of them is Kevin Schade.

The German has netted 11 times for the Bees this season with 4 of them coming in this last three games.

With their leading two goal scorers in Mbeumo and Wissa likely to leave this summer due to the seasons they're both having, could Schade be the Brentford's talisman next season?

I asked a few weeks ago if the Bees could be in for a nightmare partly because of Mbeumo and Wissa both having incredible seasons which is likely to lead to some of the big clubs chasing them in the summer.

Losing both of them will of course be a massive blow because of how important they've been for Brentford this season. But Schade has shown in recent weeks that he can step up and he did so at the weekend against Ipswich.

He's been more of a regular for the Bees this season and he has repaid the faith Thomas Frank has in him by scoring goals and putting in some good performances.

If he can keep up the form he's in for the rest of the season and the bees lose both Mbeumo and Wissa in the summer, he could be their new talisman.

Should Tyrone Mings have been sent off for his elbow on Alex Scott?

Tyrone Mings was lucky to not to have been sent off in Aston Villa's win at Bournemouth on Saturday for his elbow on Alex Scott, whose jaw was fractured as a result of it.

Mings wasn't carded for this incident despite it looking dangerous. Should he have been shown a red card for it?

There was definitely a case for the incident to be red card worthy as Mings' elbow went right into Scott's face just as Scott was trying to win the ball off him.

There is also a case for it not being a red card as Mings was using his body to prevent Scott from winning the ball, and had his elbow out to hold Scott off.

The incident was dangerous because of Mings sticking out his elbow and directing it towards Scott's face, leading to his jaw being fractured.

This incident has often been a red card offence on many occasions but whilst Mings was lucky not to receive a sending off, there is a case that the ref made the right decision in not awarding a sending off in Mings didn't launch his elbow at speed, and he was trying to protect the ball.

Could Palace lose Eze this summer

Eberechi Eze was linked with a move away from Crystal Palace last summer and there was a strong possibility that he was going to go because of the quality of player he is, and the season he had for Palace last season.

He instead stayed on and had a fairly slow start to the season whether that be down to him being disappointed that he didn't get his big move, or him coming back late following his involvement with England during the latter stages of the Euros.

He's been one of the in-form players in the league since the turn of the year and especially over the last month or so as he's registered 5 goals and 3 assists in his last 10 games.

His form will have definitely got the big clubs interested in him again and because of this, could Palace lose their talisman?

He definitely deserves the chance to play for one of the big clubs in the Premier League because of how influential a player he is and has been for Crystal Palace over the last couple of seasons.

He has the ability to be one of the top players in the Premier League and if he wants to develop further as a player, a move to one of the top clubs could help him do that as he'll be playing alongside some great players, and under a top manager who will help him get better.

He's certainly ending the season in fine form and if he can produce in Palace's final two games of the season, the big clubs will surely re-ignite their interest in him.

Spurs in need of a major clear-out this summer

Spurs may have a Europa League final to look forward to, but their league season cannot be ignored as they're 17th in the table and have been terrible all season.

Based on this, they're in need of a major clear-out this summer and a lot of people may have already same thing.

Their current team in my opinion is their worst I've ever seen and easily their worst in the Premier League era. The teams they had before they became a top six club weren't as bad as this one.

They have a lot of injuries throughout the season which have definitely played a part in the season they're having. But they still could've performed with the players they had available to them as it's their job to go out there and perform.

Their recruitment this season has been terrible as none of their signings, apart from maybe Archie Gray, have delivered.

A lot of their players have underperformed all season and they'll need to get rid of the lot in the summer if they're to have a better season next season.
