Should Rio Ngumoha start for Liverpool against PSG?

Liverpool fans have been crying out for Rio Ngumoha to start more games and especially recently because of the energy he brings and difference he makes when he's on the pitch.

He impressed yet again against Fulham over the weekend as he scored the opening goal and was willing to make things happen whenever he had the ball.

He was arguably Liverpool's best player on the pitch and his performance got me asking if he should start the game against PSG on Tuesday.

If there was one thing the reds lacked in the first leg it was an attacking outlet and Ngumoha is capable of providing that because of his pace, his directness and ability to make things happen.

PSG's right back Achraf Hakimi does like to stay high and because of this the reds should look to use Ngumoha's pace so he can use the space Hakimi leaves in behind.

Pretty much all Liverpool fans will want him to start because they're 2-0 down in the tie and need a spark from somewhere to get themselves back in it.

Ngumoha could be that player because of the energy he brings to the team and the reds will need that energy if they're to overcome the two-goal deficit.

Are Spurs the favourites for relegation?

We've all known for a while that Wolves and Burnley are gone and now there is only one relegation place left to be sealed.

Spurs currently occupy that spot after dropping into the bottom three following West Ham's win over Wolves on Friday and their defeat at Sunderland.

With Spurs' confidence appearing to be very low at the moment, does this make them the favourites for that final relegation spot.

Their current form certainly suggests so because they haven't won a game in 2026 and have a tough run of games coming up.

I'm not sure how points they're going to pick up from their run-in because of how low their confidence is and the lack of fight they're showing as well.

The teams above them are arguably better equipped than them to stay up because West Ham are showing fight and will have a lot of confidence on board after their win over Wolves, Forest are showing fight and picking up crucial points and Leeds too are showing fight and have a strong home record to back them up.

A lot can still happen between now and the end of the season, but if Spurs' form doesn't improve anytime soon, they could well be the favourites for that final relegation spot.

Do Man City now have the advantage in the title race?

The weekend saw the title race blow itself wide open as Arsenal lost at home Bournemouth and Man City won at Chelsea to put pressure on Arsenal and cut the nine-point gap to six points.

With City having two games in hand, do they now have the advantage in the title race?

They're certainly the team with the momentum because they're looking like a side who are full of confidence whereas Arsenal are beginning to wobble and are getting nervous.

Any team having one or two games in hand is always massively beneficial in whatever they're fighting for and it has often given teams an advantage whether they're scrapping for relegation or fighting for the title.

City have made the most of their games in hand in the past and will know that they'll need to do the same again this season because of how important those kind of games are and the experience they have of winning titles.

Both City and Arsenal play each other next weekend at the Etihad which is a game that is likely to decide who will go on and win the title.

If City win that game they'll definitely have the advantage in the title race because of the games in hand they have.

Nico O'Reilly a strong contender for young player of the season

Nico O'Reilly has been one of the best young players this season as he's established himself as a first team regular at Man City by putting in a number of good performances whether that be at left back or in midfield.

He's popped up with some crucial goals this season alongside the good performances he's put in and both have made him an important player for City this season.

With the form he's shown throughout the season he has to be a serious contender for the young player of the season award because he's arguably been the most consistent young player this season.

He's shown his versatility by being able to be effective both at left back and in midfield and his form has not just made him a first team regular, but also put him in a strong position to start for England at the World Cup this summer.

If he keeps on playing like he has done for the rest of the season, he might even be the favourite to win the award.
