Liverpool fans have turned on Slot

A section of Liverpool fans have been calling for Arne Slot to go for a number of months now and it now looks like they've all turned on him following the boos at full time of their 1-1 draw with Chelsea.

There were boos earlier in the game when Rio Ngumoha was substituted for Alexander Isak which was a decision the fans clearly weren't happy with.

But the boos at full time were louder and clearly showed that they're not behind their manager and I can understand why because they haven't been happy with the season their team have had and the football they've been watching.

The fans are always behind Liverpool when they play at Anfield and the atmosphere inside the ground has in the past inspired the team to up their performance levels.

But it hasn't felt like that this season because they haven't played at the same intensity as they have done in recent seasons and they also haven't had a clear identity in how they play.

Has the title been decided?

This weekend was built up as the weekend that could decide the title because of Arsenal having that five-point lead over Man City at the top of the league.

The gap at the top is still five points after both City and Arsenal won and with just two weeks left of the season, has the title been decided?

City winning their game against Brentford kept the title race alive as they have two games in hand against Crystal Palace on Wednesday and Bournemouth next Tuesday.

If they win both of those games, the title race will go down to the last day of the season whatever happens in Arsenal's next game against Burnley.

Arsenal will be expected to win that game against Burnley as well as their final game against Crystal Palace and they'll win the title if they do.

When we look back at this weekend at the end of the season, we could look back on it as the weekend that decided the title and especially if Arsenal win their remaining fixtures.

Did VAR make the right call in disallowing West Ham's equaliser?

VAR had a big decision to make during the game between West Ham and Arsenal in disallowing West Ham's equaliser for a foul on Arsenal keeper David Raya.

Did they make the right call in disallowing the goal?

I can understand why the goal was disallowed because Pablo had his arm across Raya which prevented Raya from catching the ball and Todibo pulled Raya's shirt.

But there were other fouls that took place before the goal was scored and they were all Arsenal players holding West Ham players in the penalty area.

Those fouls were not given because there probably wasn't enough in them for them to be given as fouls despite them all involving players holding onto other players to block their paths.

The referee and VAR had a big call to make because of the amount of fouls taking place inside the penalty area around the same time and anyone one of them could've been given.

But in the end, the right foul was probably given because the challenge on Raya looked more like a foul than the other incidents in the box did. This is because the challenge on Raya had an impact on trying to catch the ball.
