GK: NICK POPE (NEWCASTLE) - Pope kept a clean sheet in all but one game during November and December as Newcastle kept up their push for European football. He made some big saves when his team needed him to and is one of the main reasons why Newcastle have the best defence in the league.
RB: KIERON TRIPPIER (NEWCASTLE) - Trippier has been a crucial part of Newcastle's revolution under Eddie Howe and especially this season. He registered 2 assists across November and December and was also solid in defence as the Magpies kept 3 clean sheets.
CB: SVEN BOTMAN (NEWCASTLE) - Botman has made a massive difference to Newcastle defensively this season as the Magpies currently have the best defence in the league. He was rock solid thorughout November and December as Newcastle kept 3 clean sheets and went into the new year inside the top four.
CB: DAN BURN (NEWCASTLE) - He might have played every game at left back during November and December, but Burn still gets the nod in at centre back. He was rock solid right throughout the two months as Newcastle kept 3 clean sheets from the four games they played. He's been one of the reasons why Newcastle have been defensively astute under Eddie Howe.
LB: ANDREW ROBERTSON (LIVERPOOL) - Robertson was back to his best during November and December as Liverpool found some form before and after the World Cup. He registered 3 assists during the two months with his recent one making him highest assisting full back in Premier League history whilst defensively he rarely put a foot wrong.
RW: MOHAMED SALAH (LIVERPOOL) - Salah was back to his best like Robertson was in November and December as Liverpool found some much needed form. His 3 goals during the two months combined got Liverpool's season back on track and it enabled them to end 2022 on a strong note.
CM: MARTIN ODEGAARD (ARSENAL) - Odegaard is Arsenal's Kevin De Bruyne as he's their most creative player with the amount of chances he creates. He can also offer a goal threat and he did during both months with 3 goals alongside the 2 assists he registered. He showed why he's Arsenal captain with his overall performances like he has done all season.
CM: JOAO PALHINHA (FULHAM) - Fulham's recruitment has been much improved this season and Palhinha has been a key part of it. The Cottagers have been more solid defensively because of the way he sits in front of the back four and clears up everything in his path. He did this throughout November and December and he also offered something going forward with his goal against Southampton.
LW: BUKAYO SAKA (ARSENAL) - It was a battle between Saka and Rashford for this spot and in the end I went with Saka. He registered 2 goals and an assist as Arsenal during both months as Arsenal kept themselves top of the league by a good distance. He's carried his World Cup frm into the domestic season since it returned.
ST: IVAN TONEY (BRENTFORD) - After missing out on England's World Cup squad, Toney immediately responded with a double against Man City in Brentford's final game before the tournament. He later came back where he left off with strikes against Spurs and West Ham as the Bee's ended 2022 on a high.
ST: ERLING HAALAND (MAN CITY) - Haaland scored 4 goals across both months as he stretched his lead at the top of the goal scoring charts even further. Without his goals City might've fallen further behind Arsenal in the title race as he returned from the World Cup break where he left off.
