SUNDAY:

BOURNEMOUTH V LEICESTER

Bournemouth are longer in contention to qualify for Europe following their defeat to Man City in midweek and even though they're out of contention heading into the final day, they should still feel proud and satisfied with the season they've had.

Very few people expected them to challenge for Europe this season and for a club of their stature to be in contention for those places marks an incredible season for them.

I think they could go again next season and especially if they can keep hold of their manager who has done a brilliant job this season.

Leicester won the reverse fixture back in early October under Steve Cooper and it was their first win of the season.

This fixture could well be Ruud Van Nistelrooy's last as I don't think he'll want to stick around in the Championship next season.

The Foxes appear to be ending the season with more fight than they've shown all season following two wins and a draw from their last three games.

But I think their mini run will come to an end here as I'm backing Bournemouth to end the season with a win and a strong performance.

PREDICTION: 2-1

FULHAM V MAN CITY

Fulham kept their European hopes alive with their win at Brentford last weekend, but Brighton's win over Liverpool on Monday saw their chances shot.

This season might feel like a missed opportunity for them as it was arguably their best chance of making Europe for a number of years due to most of the so-called big team underperforming.

But Marco Silva will still feel satisfied with the season his side have had as they're on course for a top 10 finish and this would mark a very good season for the Cottagers.

Man City responded well to their FA Cup final defeat with their win over Bournemouth in midweek which put them in pole position to secure Champions League football.

It was good to see Kevin De Bruyne get a winning send off at the Etihad and it could've been the perfect send off had he put that chance away in the first half which went against the crossbar.

City will be expecting a tough game here as Fulham are capable of giving anyone a good game just like they did to City in the reverse fixture.

I can see them do the same in this one, but I think City will have enough in them to secure the point and Champions League football for next season.

PREDICTION: 1-2

IPSWICH V WEST HAM

Ipswich haven't had much to cheer about at home this season as they've won just once at Portman Road all season.

Their home form was a catalyst for them during their promotion campaign last season but this season it's been the complete opposite.

West Ham haven't had much to cheer about this season either and once this game is done, Graham Potter will immediately be looking ahead to the summer.

The Hammers have been a side who have been waiting for the summer to come round for the last few weeks as they know they've had an unsatisfactory season, and their current team is not the one Potter will be taking with him into next season.

His side should still have enough to win this game though as there is enough quality in their team to beat an Ipswich side who have been poor at home all season.

PREDICTION: 1-2

LIVERPOOL V CRYSTAL PALACE

Liverpool have been on the beach since they won the title but most of their fans don't seem to care as they've already wrapped up the title.

Crystal Palace showed no signs of a FA Cup hangover against Wolves in midweek and knowing that Liverpool have been off it since winning the title, they'll really fancy their chances here.

But I think the reds will field their strongest team in this one as they'll want to sign off the season with a win before going on to win the trophy in front of their own fans.

Palace will definitely cause them problems and give them a good game, but I think Liverpool will play their best team and put in a performance here.

PREDICTION: 2-1

MAN UNITED V ASTON VILLA

Man United will need to show a reaction in this game after losing the Europa League final in midweek so they can give their fans something to smile about at the end of what has been a horrible season.

But I'm not sure they will as they've been in such terrible form in the league and they may still be hurting from their loss in the final in midweek.

There was a lot of talk around Ruben Amorim's future in the aftermath of the final which surprised me as he hasn't been in the job for very long.

United have had their worst ever season and were beaten in the final in midweek, but it's not all his fault as he's taken over a poor team that isn't his and a club that has been in a mess for several years.

But the pressure will be on him next season as he will have had a summer to bring in his players and to build a team in his image.

Aston Villa have a poor record at Old Trafford but they'll more than fancy their chances of doing something about it in this one due to the state United are in at the moment.

They've been one of the in-form teams in the league over the last couple of months and their form during that time has put them right back in the mix for Champions League football.

All they need here is a win and I think they'll get it. But whether it'll get them Champions League football will depend on other results.

PREDICTION: 0-2

NEWCASTLE V EVERTON

Newcastle could have Alexander Isak back for this game after missing the Arsenal defeat due to a groin injury.

He was a big miss for the Magpies against Arsenal as they did everything but score and especially in the first half which was their best spell of the game.

Everton gave Goodison the send off it deserved with their win over Southampton last weekend and they'll want to round off the season with another win in this one.

The Toffees are set to have a big summer ahead of them in terms of comings and goings as they're going to lose a lot of players due to their contracts expiring, and will be expected to bring in a number of players if David Moyes is backed by the new owners.

The Toffees will definitely make it difficult for Newcastle in this one as they're well drilled and a tough team to beat.

But I think the Magpies will find a way to win whether they have Isak available or not as they have other players who can chip in.

PREDICTION: 2-0

NOTTINGHAM FOREST V CHELSEA

This is game is by far the biggest of the weekend due to what's at stake for both teams. It's very rare that we have two teams going for the same goal facing each other on the last day of the season.

Nottingham Forest got a much needed win last weekend against West Ham which will have renewed their confidence following a slight drop off in the weeks before.

Chelsea also got a much needed win last weekend when they beat Man United which was a result that put them in a very good position.

Form-wise this should be a Forest win as they've been strong at home whereas Chelsea have been poor away since the turn of the year.

But as Forest have been feeling the pressure in recent weeks, I think it could get to them in this one. But I do think they'll do enough to get at least a draw.

PREDICTION: 1-1

SOUTHAMPTON V ARSENAL

Southampton fans will be relieved when this game is over as they'll want to see the back of this season because of wretched a campaign it has been for them.

Next season will feel like a restart for them as they'll surely undergo a major rebuild which should include getting rid of players who don't want to be at the club, and the board coming up with a clear plan of where they want the club to go.

Lens boss Will Still appears to be the favourites to take the manager's job and I don't know if he's the right man for them. He has done a decent job in the Ligue 1, but he's still a young manager who needs more experience to manage a club like Southampton.

Arsenal will come into this game a bit more relaxed than they might've done one or two weeks ago after getting their Champions League place secured with their win over Newcastle last weekend.

Everyone knows they haven't had the season they hoped for as they didn't win anything and were a long way off challenging for the title.

Their Champions League campaign was a highlight but their league season will go down as a disappointment and the pressure will be on Arteta to win something next season.

His side should bow out with a win in this one and a comfortable one because of the difference in quality between the two teams.

PREDICTION: 0-4

TOTTENHAM V BRIGHTON

Spurs finally ended their long wait for a trophy in midweek by winning the Europa League and they deserve credit for their performance as they defended well and dug in.

But whether that win will be enough for Ange Postecoglou to keep his job is something we're going to find out about in a few days.

It was good to see them finally win a trophy and for Postecoglou to prove that he does win things in his second season at a club.

But they've still had a terrible season in the league and it's the league on which most managers are judged.

Brighton came from two goals down to win the reverse fixture back in October in what was a game of two halves.

The Seagulls were second best in the first half of that game but in the second half, they showed an incredible response and brilliantly turned the game on it's head.

Fabian Hurzeler's side came from behind again on Monday against Liverpool which put them in pole position to finish 8th and to possibly qualify for Europe.

They've had a decent first season under Hurzeler and I can see them finish it off with a win as Spurs may still be hungover from their Europa League celebrations.

PREDICTIONS: 1-3

WOLVES V BRENTFORD

Wolves were on course for a strong end to the season until now following three straight defeats after winning six on the trot.

But Vitor Pereira won't be too bothered about this as his side are safe and well clear of the bottom three heading into this last game.

Brentford's hope of making Europe were dealt a slight blow last weekend following their defeat to Fulham, but they can make Europe if they win this game and if Brighton lose to Spurs as they have a superior goal difference.

They come into this game in better form than Wolves having won their previous four prior to their defeat to Fulham with two of them coming away from home.

I think they'll see off the season with a win in this one, but the game won't be as crazy as the one in the reverse fixture.

PREDICTION: 0-2
