The Premier League Fixtures for the 2025/26 season were released yesterday and there are some interesting games to look forward to when the season kicks off.

The biggest game of the weekend has to be Man United taking on Arsenal because of the history of the fixture, the size of both clubs, and the rivalry the two teams once had. United have the most difficult opening fixtures out of the two as they'll be facing Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool in three of their opening eight games as well as Arsenal.

Aston Villa taking on Newcastle is another game to look forward as both sides are likely to be pushing for Champions League football again.

Defending champions Liverpool kick off the defence of their title with a winnable fixture against Bournemouth, which could see Milos Kerkez lining up for Liverpool as he is rumoured to be on verge of joining the reds.

As for the rest of last season's top five, Man City and Chelsea both have winnable starts with City playing and Wolves and Chelsea kicking off against FA Cup winners Crystal Palace.

Out of all the newly promoted teams, Burnley have the toughest start as they'll be facing Spurs in Thomas Frank's first game in charge. Leeds meanwhile will be facing Everton whilst Sunderland kick off their return to the Premier League against West Ham.

Burnley also have toughest run of games to kick off the season as they'll be facing Man United, Liverpool, Man City and Aston Villa in four of their opening seven games as well as Spurs.
