TUESDAY:
BOURNEMOUTH V BRENTFORD
Bournemouth haven't lost since losing to Arsenal at the beginning of January with only Man United having a better record than them since the turn of the year.
They went into the new year having not won a game for two months and for them to go on the run they've been on since the turn of the year has been incredible and especially given the fact that they lost their best player Antoine Semenyo during the transfer window.
Brentford have won their last three away games coming into this one including their epic 4-3 win at Burnley on Saturday just a few days after Keith Andrews signed his new contract extension.
The job Andrews has done has been incredible when you consider what happened in the summer and he simply has to be in the running for manager of the season.
I can see this game being very close because they're both attack minded teams and have been in good home and away form respectively.
Because of the latter, I'm going for a draw because I can't see a winner from either side.
PREDICTION: 2-2
EVERTON V BURNLEY
Everton have not been great at home this season as everyone knows and it's probably because their new stadium doesn't feel like home yet.
It can take a while to adjust to a new stadium as West Ham found out when they moved to the London Stadium and Everton are discovering that themselves.
But the Toffees are performing much better than West Ham did in their first season at the London Stadium as they're in the top 10 and pushing for Europe whereas West Ham spent most of the season in the bottom half.
Burnley were incredibly unlucky against Brentford and had the handball law been different, they would've come away with a point.
They showed against Brentford that they're not out of the fight just yet and that they're going to scrap for every point going.
I can see them put in another spirited showing here and with Everton struggling at home, I can see them get a result here.
But only a draw as I think it will be another one of those games where they show fight but don't get the result they deserve.
PREDICTION: 1-1
LEEDS V SUNDERLAND
Leeds were the better team early on against Man City as they made the brighter start and had some decent chances only for them not to take them.
They've been a team who have shown a lot of fight this season and especially at home where they've been difficult to beat and have had their best results.
Sunderland haven't been the same animal on the road as they have been at home as they've won just twice on the road all season.
But they'll still show fight and be in the game for as long as they can like they have done in the majority of their games this season.
But because Leeds have been strong at home this season, I think they'll be the side that come away with the points here.
PREDICTION: 2-1
WOLVES V LIVERPOOL
Wolves were the better team all over the pitch against Villa on Friday with their win in that game taking them above Derby's record points total from the 2007/08 season.
Rob Edwards have instilled a fighting spirit in his team since he took over and if his team can play with the same fight between now and the end of the season, they'll have some momentum to take with them into the Championship next season.
Liverpool have the momentum in the race for the top four after winning three games in a row including their win over West Ham on Saturday where three of their goals came from set pieces.
I have a feeling they might sneak into those Champions League spots because of the recent form they're in which will give them a lot of confidence moving and also Aston Villa being out of form.
I don't think Wolves will make it easy for them here because of the fighting spirit they've shown under Rob Edwards.
But I still think the reds will find a way to win because they have the quality of players to help them carve results out.
PREDICTION: 0-1
WEDNESDAY:
ASTON VILLA V CHELSEA
Villa looked leggy against Wolves and I fear that their top four place is now in jeopardy because of the form they're in and Liverpool only being three points behind them.
Their drop off in form has been down to a mixture of the pressure getting to them and injuries with injuries arguably being the main one as they've missed the likes of Kamara, McGinn and Tielemans.
Those three have been sorely missed during their absences and they all make such a difference when they're available.
Chelsea saw their unbeaten start under Liam Rosenior come to an end on Sunday against Arsenal where they again had another player sent off in Pedro Neto.
That was their ninth sending off in all competitions this season and they need to do something about their discipline because it's costing them points.
The blues have fared on the road than they had at home this season and with Villa currently out of form, I'm backing Liam Rosenior's side to come out on top here.
PREDICTION: 1-3
BRIGHTON V ARSENAL
Brighton are beginning to turn a corner following back-to-back wins over Brentford and Nottingham Forest which have given them some much needed confidence.
They've had some good results against Arsenal in recent seasons and they'll be feeling confident in getting another one here despite Arsenal looking a lot stronger than they have done in recent seasons.
Arsenal have won games in different ways this season and it's one of the reasons why they're probably going to go on and win the title.
The Gunners could be without Declan Rice for this one as he's a doubt for this game and it's probably best that they do rest him because they need him for the long run and shouldn't risk him picking up an injury.
There has been the odd game where Arsenal have slipped up in recent months and I think this one could be another one.
Brighton have had the odd result against the Gunners in recent seasons as I mentioned earlier and I can see them nicking a point here because of this.
PREDICTION: 1-1
FULHAM V WEST HAM
Fulham were very good in their win over Spurs on Sunday and they probably should've won by a lot more because of how dominant they were.
The Cottagers could be without Harry Wilson for this game due to an injury he picked up towards the end of the game and it would definitely be a massive blow for them if he was to miss this game. Especially with the form he's been in.
There were positives for West Ham to take from their defeat at Liverpool despite losing the game 5-2 in that they had some decent chances and made it uncomfortable for Liverpool at times.
But an old problem came back to bite them in defending from set pieces which has plagued them all season and needs to be fixed if they're to stay up.
I would've gone for a Fulham win if Harry Wilson was fit but as he's likely to miss out, I'm going for a draw because West Ham have fared better away than they have at home and are looking more difficult to play against than they were the last time the two teams met.
PREDICTION: 1-1
MAN CITY V NOTTINGHAM FOREST
Man City were far from their best against Leeds but they still came away with the win which is what all top teams do and especially the ones challenging for the title.
Erling Haaland's absence from that game was s surprise up until it was revealed that he picked up a knock in training and I think he'll miss this one as well.
He will of course be a big miss for City, but Omar Marmoush is capable of stepping up as he has done quite a few times this season both in the league and the cup.
Forest haven't had an identity in the way they've played this season and it comes as a result of bringing in managers with different playing philosophies.
They left themselves vulnerable against Brighton in the way they pressed which left gaps in behind their defence which Brighton exploited.
I can see that being the case again in this one because City have players who can punish any defensive mistake from the opposition.
I can see them win this game rather comfortably whether Haaland is available or not.
PREDICTION: 3-0
NEWCASTLE V MAN UNITED
Newcastle have won this fixture in each of the last three seasons but I don't see them making it four in a row because they're still without Bruno Guimaraes.
Bruno makes such a difference to the Magpies when he plays and especially in these kind of games because of the quality he possesses.
Man United are still unbeaten under Michael Carrick who has in the process boosted his chances of getting the job full time.
He has a very good chance of getting the job if he leads United into the top four which I think will happen because of the form they're in.
They moved up to third after beating Crystal Palace on Sunday where Benjamin Sesko both started and scored the winner.
Newcastle tried to buy Sesko in the summer before United got him and is starting to show why United sent that money on him.
I can see him show Newcastle what they're missing here by scoring the winning goal to give United the win.
PREDICTION: 0-2
THURSDAY:
TOTTENHAM V CRYSTAL PALACE
Spurs are the only side yet to win in 2026 with their last win coming at the end of December against Palace in the reverse fixture.
They might actually have a chance of winning that game as Palace are also out of form which along with the result from their last meeting could give them some much needed confidence.
But the only thing stopping them could be their home form which has been dreadful all season and has shown no signs of improving.
Palace have fared better on the road than they have at home this season and I fancy them to win this game because of this and Spurs' wretched home form.
The Eagles might not be in great form as I mentioned earlier, but I'm still going to back them to win this game because I do not trust Spurs at home.
PREDICTION: 1-2
