FRIDAY:

ASTON VILLA V LIVERPOOL

Villa will probably make changes for this game with the Europa League final against Freiburg in mind but they shouldn't make too many because the last time that happened they put in a flat performance against Spurs.

They shouldn't really make changes because this game is the biggest one of their season and a defeat for them here would allow Bournemouth the chance move move within a point of them.

But as Emery won't want to risk his big players ahead of such an important game I do see them making changes here.

Liverpool fans have had enough of Arne Slot after booing the team off at full time against Chelsea last weekend and the board now have a decision to make in the summer as whether to keep him or sack him.

My guess is that they'll keep him because he's got credit in the bank after leading them to the title last season but if they don't win this game, the fans' frustrations will only grow and the board could well listen to them.

Because I think Villa will make changes and are out of form, I'm backing Liverpool to come out on top here even though they're also out of form.

I don't think they'll play brilliantly I think they'll do enough to win the game and especially with Villa having one eye on the Europa League final.

PREDICTION: 1-2

SUNDAY:

MAN UNITED V NOTTINGHAM FOREST

Man United are seriously considering appointing Michael Carrick on a permanent basis according to reports and him being nominated for manager of the season has only strengthened his chances.

If they are to appoint him they need to do so quickly so they can start planning for the summer as to which players they want to bring in to strengthen the team.

Forest secured their safety with their draw against Newcastle last weekend but will still want to end the season as strongly as they can so they have some momentum to take into next season.

They could have Morgan Gibbs-White back for this one after he returned to the bench against Newcastle but didn't come on and his influence was sorely missed.

But whether he plays or not, I still think United will win and I'm backing Bruno Fernandes to assist at least one of the goals so he can move closer towards breaking the all-time record for assists in a season.

PREDICTION: 2-0

BRENTFORD V CRYSTAL PALACE

These two teams have one thing in common: They both played Man City in their last league game.

Brentford played better than the score line suggested against City last weekend as they had some good chances and put in a spirited performance.

Palace on the other hand were outplayed by City on Wednesday and the players are clearly thinking more about the Conference League final against Rayo Vallecano than they are about a strong end to the season.

Oliver Glasner will want to his side to show a response here because he'll want them to go into that final with some momentum and confidence on board.

I should probably predict a Brentford win here because they're strong at home and having a much better season domestically than Palace.

But Palace have fared better on the road than they have at home this season and I do think they'll show a reaction despite their minds being set on the Conference League final.

Both teams will definitely go for it here as they both like to play on the front foot but with Palace being better away from home and Brentford having a decent record at home, I can see the points being shared here.

PREDICTION: 1-1

EVERTON V SUNDERLAND

This will feel like a must-win game for Everton if they want to qualify for Europe and if they're to win this game, they need to see the game out better after conceding late goals in each of their last two games against Man City and Crystal Palace.

They ended up dropping points from those two games and are now without a win in their last five league games.

Sunderland come into this game just a point behind the toffees and a win for them in this game will see them climb above them into 8th place if other results go in their favour.

Regis Le Bris' side haven't fared as well away as they have at home this season and are facing an Everton side who haven't been great at home all season.

I can see this game being a cagey affair because both teams are competitive, tough to beat and won't want to lose this game.

Because of this I can see both teams sharing the points but I think they'll both score.

PREDICTION: 1-1

LEEDS V BRIGHTON

Leeds's safety was secured last weekend after other results went in their favour before their draw with Spurs on Monday.

I feel that Daniel Farke was overlooked for the manager of the season award because of the way he turned Leeds's season around following a tricky start.

He's proved his doubters wrong this season by comfortably guiding Leeds to safety and turning them into a competitive Premier League side which for me was enough for him to be a contender.

Brighton comfortably strolled past Wolves last weekend to keep their hopes of Europe alive and a win for them will move them up into 5th and to within three points of the Champions League places.

They've been on a good run of form over the last few months and Fabian Hurzeler deserves a lot of credit for it because it wasn't that long ago that people were calling for him to be sacked.

This should be a win for Leeds because they've been strong at home all season whereas Brighton haven't been as strong away.

But as both teams are in good form and are likely to go for it here, I can see the points being shared because I can see them cancel each other out.

PREDICTION: 2-2

WOLVES V FULHAM

Wolves are going down with a whimper and their performance against Brighton showed why as they got outclassed.

Fulham are also not ending the season well following a run of just 2 wins from their last 8 games and it could be because the future of Marco Silva is getting to the players.

It looks like he'll probably go because there has been no news at to whether he'll sign a new contract.

The Cottagers haven't been as strong at on the road as they have been at home, but I do think they'll they'll return to winning ways with a fairly straightforward win here.

PREDICTION: 0-2

NEWCASTLE V WEST HAM

Newcastle have dropped a lot of points from winning positions this season and it's why they're in the position they're in.

They dropped points from a winning position once again against Forest last weekend and if Eddie Howe does stay at the club next season, this issue will be one he must address.

West Ham will be thankful for Leeds taking points off Spurs on Monday and they now have the chance to climb out of the bottom three and put the pressure on Spurs.

But I don't see that happening because I'm backing Newcastle to win this game and I'm backing them because they have a decent record at home.

PREDICTION: 3-1

ARSENAL V BURNLEY

Arsenal will have one hand on the title if they win this game and the pressure will be on them to win it after Man City beat Palace on Wednesday.

Mikel Arteta's side know what they have to and know that a win here will move them one step closer towards winning the title.

Burnley showed more fight than I thought they would against Villa last weekend and they were helped by Villa looking slightly off it.

Being at home certainly helped as it's at home where their best performances this season have come.

But I think Arsenal will beat them handsomely here because of their recent form and the quality they have in their squad.

PREDICTION: 3-0
