GK: BERND LENO (FULHAM) - Leno kept 2 clean sheets during April and made a lot of important saves at Fulham kept up their push for Europe. He pulled off an incredible last minute save against Brentford to deny Keane Lewis-Potter which kept the Cottagers in the hunt for Europe.
RB: MATS WIEFFER (BRIGHTON) - Wieffer put in a shift at both ends right throughout April as Brighton kept up their push for European football. He netted twice in the Seagulls' win at Burnley and made a number of crucial defensive interventions throughout the month.
CB: KONSTANTINOS MAVROPANOS (WEST HAM) - Mavropanos made key contributions at both ends of the pitch during April and they all played a key role in West Ham climbing out of the relegation zone. He netted twice in the Hammers' 4-0 win over Wolves and made many crucial interventions as they kept 2 clean sheets.
CB: AXEL DISASI (WEST HAM) - West Ham have tightened up defensively since Disasi has come in and he's arguably been the main reason why. He kept up his impact during April by putting in solid performances throughout the month as the Hammers kept 2 clean sheets and ended the month outside the relegation zone.
LB: NICO O'REILLY (MAN CITY) - O'Reilly had another outstanding month with Man City as he made vital contributions at both ends. He popped up with the opening goal in City's win over Chelsea and put in good all-round displays in every game throughout April as City got their title challenge back on track.
CM: ALEX SCOTT (BOURNEMOUTH) - Scott was excellent right throughout April as he won his midfield battles both with and without the ball and also scored a brilliant winning goal against Arsenal. He's arguably been Bournemouth's best player this season and if he keeps up the current form he's in, he's got a chance of making England's World Cup squad.
CM: BRUNO FERNANDES (MAN UNITED) - Fernandes registered assists in every game during April as he moved closer towards the all-time record for assists in a season which is currently held by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne. If he breaks that record he has to be a strong contender for player of the season.
CM: MORGAN GIBBS-WHITE (NOTTINGHAM FOREST) - Gibbs-White kept up his fine form in 2026 by scoring 4 goals in April including a hat trick against Burnley. His goals played a key part in Forest climbing further away from the relegation zone and if he carries on playing like he is for the rest of the season, he has a strong chance of making the England squad for the World Cup.
RW: JARROD BOWEN (WEST HAM) - Bowen registered 4 assists during April and they were all key as West Ham picked up some much needed points. The Hammers will need him to carry this form into their final few games of the season if they're to stay up.
LW: NOAH OKAFOR (LEEDS) - Okafor scored 3 goals during April with 2 of them coming in Leeds's 2-1 win at Man United. His goals were key in Leeds increasing the distance between themselves and the relegation zone and they now should be good as safe.
ST: IGOR JESUS (NOTTINGHAM FOREST) - Very few strikers stood out during April but if I was to pick one for this team, it would have to be Jesus. He worked tirelessly from the front with his energy and work rate and scored 2 crucial goals as Forest moved well clear of the relegation zone.
