Champions League Final 2025 Preview

PROBABLE STARTING LINE UPS FOR BOTH TEAMS:

This final might be the lowest built up final in a long time as nobody saw both teams being any where near the final at the start of the season.

The expectations were low for PSG in this competition at the start of the season as they were going for a different approach in moving away from buying world stars in favour of giving youth a chance.

They did make a slow start to the competition after spending most of the League Phase inside the elimination places, but three straight wins from their final three games saw them into the knockout play offs and they've got better as the competition progressed.

They look more like a team than they have done in recent seasons not having those so-called egos has helped massively as it's enabled them to be more cohesive as a unit.

Inter Milan were beaten in the final two years ago by Man City where they actually played quite well and were unlucky to lose the game.

This recent experience might just give them the edge here as they know what it's like to play in a Champions League final due to them playing in that final two seasons ago.

They've been the best team defensively this season as they've looked watertight at the back throughout the competition up until their semi final against Barcelona, which was the only time where their defence was caused problems.

PREDICTION:

PSG will have most of the ball in this final as they're a possession based team, but they're still a a young and inexperienced side and I think they'll show signs of that in this final.

Inter will be happy to defend before hitting PSG on the counter as they have done a number of times this season. Because of this and the fact that they're a more experienced team, I think they'll be the side that takes home the trophy here.
