Thomas Tuchel announced his latest England squad earlier today ahead of their friendly against Wales and World Cup qualifier against Latvia.
There are no new faces to the squad, but there are recalls for John Stones and Bukayo Saka.
Let's see what I think of the squad.
Stones was originally in the last squad but had to withdraw due to injury. His recall was expected as he's a guaranteed starter for England when he's fit.
Saka's recall was also expected as he too is a guaranteed starter for England when he's fit and in the squad.
As for the rest of the squad, Morgan Rogers' inclusion surprises me a bit because he has not been in good form for Villa recently.
I was also surprised to see Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the squad as I wasn't expecting him to be included and the same could also be said about Jordan Henderson who is once again included. But I can understand why he's in the squad as he's been good form for Brentford and because of his experience.
I was surprised to see Phil Foden not included as he's been in very good form for Man City recently and is looking more like the player we know he is. Adam Wharton being left out was another surprise as I was very much expecting him to be in the squad.
