England Squad Verdict

Thomas Tuchel announced his England squad earlier today ahead of their World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Albania.
Alex Scott is the only new name to the squad whilst there are recalls for Nick Pope, Adam Wharton, Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden.
Let's see what I think of the squad.
I'm very surprised that Alex Scott has been called up because I wasn't expected him to receive a call up. He has been part of a Bournemouth side who are having an excellent season but I still wasn't expecting him to be in the squad.
In terms of the players who have been recalled, Nick Pope definitely deserved his recall because he's been in good form for Newcastle this season.
Adam Wharton also deserves his recall as he too has been in good form for Crystal Palace and was probably expected to be back in the squad anyway after missing the last one due to injury.
Phil Foden and Jude Bellingham were both controversially left out of the last squad with Bellingham's exclusion in my opinion being the more understandable as he had only just returned from an injury at the time. Both players 100% deserved their recalls because they're in good form for their clubs and should be in the squad on any day of the week because of the players they both are.
As for the rest of the squad, I was surprised to see Harry Kane as the only recognised striker because a manager would normally name at least two strikers in their squad. I know all English strikers in the Premier League apart from Danny Welbeck are out of form, but Tuchel still should've named a back up striker for Kane and Welbeck was unlucky not to be that layer given the form he's been in for Brighton.
