England won their second successive U21 Euros last night after beating Germany 3-2 in the final to win the tournament.
The majority of their players will surely be looking to make the step up into the senior squad soon and I'm sure that Thomas Tuchel will be monitoring them following their success this summer.
So which players in their squad will make the step up up into the senior squad?
Charlie Cresswell
Cresswell put in some solid performances at the back all tournament for England and he put in another one last night in the final by making a number of crucial blocks.
He currently plays his club football with Toulouse in Ligue 1 after joining from Leeds last summer and after watching him last night, Tuchel will send his scouts over to France to watch him and see whether he's in good enough form to earn a senior call up.
If he has another impressive season in Ligue 1 next season, he might find himself in the senior squad.
Jack Hinshelwood
Hinshelwood has featured more than a handful of times for Brighton since he broke into their first team two seasons ago and has impressed in most of the games he has played in.
With England very short on left back options, Hinshelwood could put himself in the frame for a senior call up if he can continue to impress and hold down a regular starting place in the Brighton team.
Elliot Anderson
Anderson in some peoples eyes was overlooked for a senior call up last season during an impressive debut season at Nottingham Forest.
He impressed all tournament for England with his ball carrying skills and ability to break up play, both of which he did a number of times last night in the final.
If he can have another impressive season at Forest next season, he force his way into the senior squad.
Harvey Elliott
Elliott was England's top goal scorer with 5 goals at the Euros with one of them being the first goal in the final. He was also named player of the tournament and deservedly so as he was England's main man for the entire tournament.
His chances of earning a senior call up will however depend on where he'll be playing his football next season as he's been linked with a move away from Liverpool this summer.
A move away might be the best option for him as he's set to find first team opportunities limited again following the arrival of Florian Wirtz. If he can find a play where he's going to play regularly and impress for them, he could force his way into the senior squad.
James McAtee
McAtee was England's captain during the Euros and put in a number of impressive performances in the no.10 role, including in the final up until he went off with cramp.
If he is to force his way into the senior squad, he may need to find another club as he's likely to find first team opportunities at Man City limited due to the quality of players ahead of him in the pecking order.
If he can find a new club and make an impression there, he could find himself in the senior squad.
Ethan Nwaneri
Nwaneri impressed in the majority of games he played in for Arsenal last season and he'll be hoping to impress further next season.
The majority of his appearances next season are likely to come off the bench, but if Bukayo Saka or Martin Odegaard were to have another spell out injured, and he can step up in the absence of either, he could earn himself a senior call up.
