FA Cup Final 2025 Preview

PROBABLE STARTING LINE UPS FOR BOTH TEAMS

This will be Crystal Palace's third appearance at an FA Cup final and they'll be hoping to make it third time lucky after losing both their previous finals to Man United in 1990 and 2016 respectively.

They gave City a good game both home and away in the Premier League this season and were ahead in both games including the the most recent one where they went 2-0 up before going on to lose 5-2.

They definitely have players who can hurt City with one of them being Eberechi Eze who has been in fine form recently after scoring 5 goals in his last 4 games.

He'll be Palace's dangerman in this one but Sarr and Mateta will also look to have an influence on the game as well.

Man City will no doubt be the favourites to win this cup final because they know what it takes to win a cup final due to the recent experience they have of winning trophies.

They have had a terrible season by their own high standards, but winning the FA Cup would at least give their fans something to cheer about at the end of the season.

There is a vulnerability about them defensively which Palace will definitely look to exploit but going forward, they're still a dangerous side due to quality they possess in that area of the pitch.

PREDICTION:

Palace will definitely cause City problems in this final as City do have a vulnerability about them defensively. But I think City will have just enough to see themselves over the line because of the quality they have, and the fact that they know what it takes to win a cup final.
