Is Ethan Nwaneri pushing for an England call up?
Ethan Nwaneri has been one of the shining stars of the season at just 17 years of age. He's impressed whenever he's played for Arsenal this season and against Leicester he was he best player of the pitch.
He got crosses into the box on many occasions against Leicester on Saturday and beat players in one on one situations.
With the form he's been in this season, could he be pushing for an England call up?
It might feel a bit premature to have him down for an England call up as he's only 17, but England have called up players around that age in the past. Wayne Rooney, Jude Bellingham and Theo Walcott all earned their first England call ups at that age and all went on to make their debuts shortly after.
Nwaneri has proven that he's more than good enough to start for a big club like Arsenal this season with the performances he's put in this season. And if he's good enough to play for Arsenal, then he's good enough to earn a senior England call up.
New England manager Thomas Tuchel will announce his first squad around this time next month and he will have hopefully been made aware of Nwaneri's rise.
He currently plays for England at U19 level and may get the chance to at least train with the senior squad because of how good he's been for Arsenal this season.
But if he can keep playing like he has been over the next few weeks, he could earn his first call up. Especially with England currently short on right wingers with Bukayo Saka currently out injured.
Palmer between the sticks gives Ipswich a better chance of staying up
New Ipswich keeper Alex Palmer could not have had a better debut on Saturday as he made a lot of important saves to keep his team in the game against Aston Villa. His saves were what earned Ipswich a much needed point in their battle to avoid relegation.
Kieran McKenna's side have lacked a reliable shot stopper all season as Ari Muric has made a number of high profile errors this season, and these errors have cost Ipswich a lot of points.
Palmer may have played just once for them, but he proved against Villa that he is a reliable shot stopper and with him between the sticks, the tractor boys stand a better chance of staying up.
Every team battling relegation needs a reliable shot stopper between the sticks as they'll have their backs to the wall in a lot of games, and in those games you need a keeper who can keep the ball out of the net.
Palmer showed that he can be that keeper against Villa as Ipswich had their backs to the wall for most of the game, and when they needed Palmer to make some crucial saves, he stepped up and helped them get a result.
A lot of people will think that Ipswich will end up relegated this season, but if Palmer can have more games like the one he had against Villa, they might have a chance.
Is Gonzalez City's new Rodri?
Omar Marmoush may have been City's star of the show against Newcastle on Saturday with his hat trick, but he wasn't their only standout performer on the day.
That other player who stood out was midfielder Nico Gonzalez who gave City the control to games they've been lacking all season in midfield.
Pep Guardiola called him "mini-Rodri" in his post match interview because of him bringing that control to a game that Rodri brings.
This has led me to asking if Gonzalez is City's new Rodri?
As well as giving the team control, Gonzalez also protected the back four by reading the game well out of possession. City's defence has been exposed a lot this season because they haven't had that player who can sit in front of the back four and protect the defence.
City's team had a much better balance to it against Newcastle than it has done all season and it was all because of Gonzalez and what he brought both in and out of possession.
Because of the impact he made, City head into their next two games against Real Madrid and Liverpool with much more belief than they had a few weeks ago.
If he can play like he did against Newcastle over the net few weeks, he could be calling him City's new Rodri.
