Ekitike must start more for Liverpool
Liverpool's summer recruitment has come under a lot of criticism this season as most of their new signings haven't performed or settled in quickly enough.
But the one signing who has performed is Hugo Ekitike as he's the reds' top goal scorer with 7 goals and has been one of their better performers this season along with Dominik Szoboszlai.
Because of this he surely has to start more for Liverpool because he's offered more as a centre forward that Alexander Isak has when he's been in the team as the starting striker.
There is even a case that the reds didn't even need Isak and I have to agree with that because the reds have been better balanced with Ekitike up front and as I mentioned earlier, he's been by far the better of the two.
The reds spent nearly £80 million on Ekitike and when you spent that amount of money on someone, he has to start every game and don't need to bring in another for over £100 million like they did with Isak.
Ekitike has shown himself to be an all-round centre forward since he's been at Liverpool by dropping deep to receive the ball, linking up with teammates and being good in the air as well as being able to score goals.
Arne Slot will probably want to continue rotating between the two strikers, but I think he should start Ekitike in every game because of the performances he's put in since he's been at the club and Isak still not being100% fit.
Scott Parker is under pressure
Burnley lost their seventh game in a row over the weekend against Fulham which is the run run they've been on in many years.
Manager Scott Parker does have credit in the bank after leading them to promotion last season and his side this season have put in some competitive and resilient performances.
But they haven't got the results to match those performances and when a team loses seven games in a row, you have to say that the manager is under pressure.
When Burnley got promoted last season, I thought they would fare the best out of the newly promoted sides because of their brilliant defensive record last season in the Championship where they conceded just 16 goals.
I still had them down to get relegated but I still thought they would fare the best out of the sides that game because of their strong defensive record from last season.
But that strong and organised defence has not been seen at all this season as they have conceded 33 goals with only Wolves conceding more this season.
They've also struggled at the other end as well as they've missed a number of good opportunities throughout the season and have only scored 18 league goals with only Forest and Wolves scoring fewer.
The Claret have some tough games coming up starting with Bournemouth, Everton and Newcastle in their next three before the turn of the year.
If they don't get anything against Bournemouth next weekend, Parker's job could be under threat because this losing run cannot go on any longer.
How long does Thomas Frank have at Spurs?
The pressure appeared to be easing off Thomas Frank at Spurs following back-to-back wins last week against Brentford in the Premier League and Slavia Prague in the Champions League.
But the pressure is now back on him following their 3-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest over the weekend which was another poor performance from them.
They were second best for the entirety of the game against Forest as they barely offered anything forward and were outfought.
Following that poor performance and result, how long does Thomas Frank have left at Spurs?
Frank got off to a decent start at Spurs as he won 3 of his opening 5 league games in charge which had Spurs in and around the top four.
But since then both results and performances have dropped off and Spurs are now 11th with Frank again under a lot of pressure.
He knew he was walking into a tough job the moment he arrived at Spurs because of the size of club Spurs are and the expectations they have as a club.
He definitely deserved a crack at a club higher up the Premier League after doing such a good job at Brentford in stabilising them as a Premier League club and turning them into a side that could push for a top 10 finish.
But the step up is proving to be too big for him based on the struggles he's had with managing a big club like Spurs.
I know he hasn't been in the job long and he probably deserves more time because of this being his first big job and the fact that he has been without a fair few players due to injuries.
But Spurs' recent results have been poor and if their form doesn't improve soon, he could fine himself on thin ice.
Is Dominic Calvert-Lewin the man to fire Leeds to safety?
Leeds' main problem this season has no doubt been putting the ball in the back of the net or even lacking someone to do exactly that at the top end of the pitch.
They might've found that player in Dominic Calvert-Lewin who has scored four goals in this last four games with Leeds collecting five points from those four games.
Could he be the man to fire Leeds to safety?
When Leeds signed Calvert-Lewin in the summer, he looked like he could be a good signing for Leeds because he's a proven goal scorer at Premier League level.
But there will have been question marks over his injury record as he has had an injury plagued career and especially over the last few seasons.
He has featured in most of Leeds' games this season but has only completed 90 minutes four times as Daniel Farke has probably been building up his fitness and protecting him from more injuries.
He's definitely a good player when he's as he showed it during his early seasons at Everton and if Leeds can keep him fit, they have a good chance of staying up.
