TUESDAY:

BOURNEMOUTH V EVERTON

Bournemouth have a good record against Everton and especially at home as they're unbeaten in eight league games against them in this fixture.

But they are not in the best of form at the moment as they're on a four game winless run with three of those four games being defeats.

Their slump was bound to happen sooner or later as it does with any so-called lesser team when they started well, but they need to bounce back soon so they can get themselves back on track.

Everton got bullied by Newcastle over the weekend and especially in the first half as Newcastle caused them problems with their long balls.

David Moyes will demand a response from his side here after being comfortably beaten in that game but it won't be easy because of their poor record at Bournemouth.

Despite the Cherries being in a slump, I'm backing them to return to winning ways in this one because of their record against Everton and I can see them cause the toffees similar problems to what Newcastle caused them.

PREDICTION: 2-0

FULHAM V MAN CITY

Fulham were excellent in that first half against Spurs and they did well to hold out for the win in the second half when Spurs put the pressure on them.

They've fared better at home than they have on the road this season with their only defeat at home coming against Arsenal back in October where they were in the game.

They're usually in games against the so-called bigger teams and they'll definitely fancy themselves to get something from this game as City are not exactly firing at the moment.

Man City did get the win against Leeds on Saturday, but it wasn't at all convincing as they got pegged back in the second half after looking so comfortable in the first half.

Leeds unsettled them in the second half and I can see Fulham doing the same here as they're a side who play with energy and pace.

Fulham may not have a great record against City, but I can see them make it difficult for them and nick a draw.

PREDICTION: 1-1

NEWCASTLE V TOTTENHAM

Newcastle beat Spurs in the Carabao Cup back in October and they won the game rather comfortably as they barely gave Spurs a sniff.

Spurs' form since that game has gone downhill and as they've won just twice in all competitions with those wins coming against Everton in the league and Villarreal in the Champions League.

They were once again disappointing against Fulham on Saturday after which I said they lack top quality players in their squad and what I mean by that is they lack players who can decide games.

They lost one of those players in the summer in Heung Min Son who has been a big miss since he left as their attack has struggled to score goals and create chances.

Newcastle come into this game off the back of back-to-back wins over Man City and Everton and have won this fixture in each of the last three seasons.

I can only see them bag another comfortable win in this one because they're strong at home and have a clear identity in how they play unlike Spurs.

PREDICTION: 3-1

WEDNESDAY:

ARSENAL V BRENTFORD

Arsenal's draw at Chelsea could be seen both as a point gained or two two points dropped.

A point gained because any point away from home is a good point and they're still a good distance clear at the top of the league. But two points dropped because they had an extra man for most of the game.

They didn't cause Chelsea too many problems on Sunday and it wasn't until Martin Odegaard came on when they started to move the ball quicker and ask questions of the Chelsea defence.

Brentford will look to cause the Gunners similar problems to the ones Chelsea caused on Sunday as they're a physical side who play long balls and are tough to play against.

Keith Andrews' side have a good record in London this season with their only loss coming at Crystal Palace only a few games ago.

I think they'll score and especially as they have one of the in-form strikers in Europe right now in Igor Thiago who I think could make it an uncomfortable afternoon for the Gunners defence.

But I think Arsenal will have enough to come away with the points because they're at home and have players both on the pitch and their bench who can win them a game.

PREDICTION: 2-1

BRIGHTON V ASTON VILLA

Brighton were very impressive in their win over Forest over the weekend as they dominated the game from start to finish.

The Seagulls are still unbeaten at home this season and it's because of their home form I don't see them losing this game.

Villa are one of the in-form teams in the league at the moment following 7 wins from their last 8 league games which have lifted them from the lower reaches of the league to the top four.

But their attack is still short on goals with their top scorer in Emi Buendia scoring just 3 goals whilst Ollie Watkins hasn't scored since late September.

I do think both teams will score here as they both have players in other positions who can score goals.

But I think they'll both cancel each other out as I can see both teams waste chances as they do have a tendency to do that.

PREDICTION: 1-1

BURNLEY V CRYSTAL PALACE

Burnley have been a competitive team to play against at home this season but they haven't quite got the results their performances deserve.

They really need to start getting wins on the board soon as they're currently on a four game losing streak and second from bottom.

Goals have undoubtedly been their biggest problem just as I thought it would be at the start of the season as they don't have a centre forward who is proven at Premier League level.

Palace looked very good in the first half against Man United before tiring in the second half which United took advantage off.

Them tiring in that game was down to them playing in Europe during the week and I knew that would happen as it's happened to them in a few of their other games this season due to their lack of squad depth.

They do have a lot of games within a short space of time over the next few weeks where they could potentially pick up more injuries because of their lack of squad depth.

But I'm backing them to return to winning ways in this one as I think they'll have more than enough quality to win this game.

PREDICTION: 0-2

WOLVES V NOTTINGHAM FOREST

Wolves had their moments against Villa in that they had a number of good chances which they unfortunately weren't able to take.

Rob Edwards will have been encouraged by the courage his side showed in that game and they'll need to show more of it if they're to start winning games.

Forest were second best throughout against Brighton and I think playing in Europe during the week was one reason why as Brighton looked more up for it.

That defeat halted the momentum they had before and they'll be looking to regain it in this one so they can pull themselves further away from the relegation zone.

I can only see them regain that momentum and return to winning ways in this one because I think they'll have more than enough quality to beat a struggling Wolves side who are low on confidence.

PREDICTION: 0-2

LEEDS V CHELSEA

Leeds showed a good reaction in the second half against Man City as they really went for it after being outplayed in the first half.

But they did concede another late goal and the amount of late goals they've conceded this season have cost them results and put pressure on Daniel Farke.

They have been competitive in a lot of their games this season and especially at home. But they need to start turning these competitive performances into results.

Chelsea deserve a lot of credit for their performance against Arsenal on Sunday and especially as they played most of the game with 10 men.

They showed resilience to stay in the game following Moises Caicedo's sending off and they went toe-to-toe with Arsenal throughout the entirety of the game by showing a fighting spirit.

I get the feeling that they're beginning to evolve as a team and especially over the past week following their win against Barcelona in the Champions League and the performance they put in against Arsenal.

I'm expecting Leeds to give the blues a tough game here as they always make it difficult for teams when they play at home by being competitive and tough to beat.

But I think Chelsea will find a way to win the game as I can see Leeds conceding another late goal.

PREDICTION: 1-2

LIVERPOOL V SUNDERLAND

Arne Slot made a big decision in dropping Mohamed Salah from the starting line up against West Ham on Sunday and it was a decision that paid off and had to be done due to the poor form he's in.

It was good to see Alexander Isak finally get on the scoresheet and his goal was one he needed so he can start building up his confidence.

But he is still rusty in terms of fitness and because of that I think Slot may give him a cameo from the bench in an attempt to build up his fitness and sharpness.

Sunderland showed character and resilience to come from behind to beat Bournemouth and the result will give them the confidence they need to help them through their next few games which are all tricky.

They face Man City and Newcastle following this game against Liverpool and these games will no doubt test them.

I don't think Sunderland have ever won at Anfield and if they have it was probably many years ago. Maybe even before the Premier League existed.

Regis Le Bris' side will definitely fancy themselves to get a result here because of the season they're having and the fact that Liverpool aren't in great form at the moment.

But I think Liverpool will get the win here and I'm backing Mo Salah to get back on the score sheet as he'll want to prove a point after being dropped to the bench against West Ham which may have lit a fire inside his belly.

PREDICTION: 2-1

THURSDAY:

MAN UNITED V WEST HAM

Man United's win over Palace was a game of two halves with the second half being their best spell as they took advantage of Palace tiring as the game progressed.

Amorim deserved credit in the way they turned the game around as he knew Palace were tiring and he got a message out to his players telling them to take advantage of it and they did.

West Ham were disappointing against Liverpool in that they didn't really cause them too many problems.

I had them down to win that game both because of Liverpool's form and the fact that the Hammers were beginning to turn a corner following the recent results they had going into that game.

I don't see many goals being scored here as both sides don't have many goals in them on paper with the players they have available.

But I do think United will just edge it as they have the better record in this fixture and I can see them come up with a moment of quality to win the game with Bruno Fernandes providing it.

PREDICTION: 1-0
