SATURDAY:

BURNLEY V BOURNEMOUTH

Burnley's last home game was one of the games of the season as they showed incredible character to come from behind and nearly beat Brentford.

Scott Parker's side have looked competitive in a lot of their home games this season but they need to be more than competitive if they're to stay up because time is running out for them.

Bournemouth are still unbeaten since losing to Arsenal at the beginning of the calendar year but their away form hasn't been as good as their home form.

The Cherries have drawn their last three games in the Premier League and with Burnley being a competitive team at home, I can see them making it four straight draws here.

PREDICTION: 1-1

SUNDERLAND V BRIGHTON

Sunderland went out of the FA Cup to Port Vale last weekend and they went into the game with the wrong attitude as they thought they would just turn up and win the game.

Their season has hit a bump in the road since Christmas and so has their impressive home form after losing their last two games at the Stadium Light to Liverpool and Fulham respectively.

Brighton were beginning to turn a corner before their defeat to Arsenal over a week ago following back-to-back wins against Brentford and Nottingham Forest in the two games before.

Fabian Hurzeler's side have not been great away from home this season as they've won just three times on the road all season.

Sunderland might've lost their last two games at home, but it does nothing to harm their impressive record there and I'm backing them to bounce back with a win here.

PREDICTION: 2-1

ARSENAL V EVERTON

Arsenal had a far from comfortable game against Bayer Leverkusen in midweek as they maybe weren't expecting Leverkusen to put in the kind of performance they did.

But they did still come away with a draw which does give them something to build on heading into the second leg.

Everton will probably give them a similar kind of game to what Leverkusen gave them because they're a side who are competitive and difficult to beat and especially away from home.

The Toffees have fared a lot better on the road than they have at home this season and are unbeaten in their last six away games.

But with Arsenal being as strong as they have been at home and the different ways in which they have won games this season, I've got to back them here.

PREDICTION: 2-1

CHELSEA V NEWCASTLE

Chelsea were in the game against PSG in midweek up until Filip Jorgensen made that mistake which led to Bradley Barcola's goal.

Liam Rosenior will have been pleased with the performance his team put in up to that point as they did create some good chances and give PSG a good game.

Newcastle also put in a promising showing in midweek against Barcelona and were very unlucky not to come away with the win as they were easily the better side on the night.

Eddie Howe will have taken a lot of heart from the performance his side put in and he'll need his side to produce the same in this one.

But because they've struggled on the road all season and in games after playing in Europe, I can only see a Chelsea win here.

The blues may not be in great form at home, but they should still have enough quality to win this game.

PREDICTION: 3-1

WEST HAM V MAN CITY

West Ham look the most likely team to stay up out of the sides battling it out down there because they're in better form and have arguably more belief.

They've definitely turned a corner since the turn of the year as they're looking more solid and difficult to play against than they were a few months ago.

This game is a must win for Man City as they could be ten points behind Arsenal by the time it comes round as Arsenal are playing first.

They got ripped apart by Real Madrid in midweek where they looked defensively static and have it all to do in the second leg on Tuesday.

Pep Guardiola will want his side to respond here and I think they will because they should have more than enough quality to win this game.

PREDICTION: 1-3

SUNDAY:

CRYSTAL PALACE V LEEDS

Palace come into this game off the back playing in Europe and have struggled in games after playing in Europe during the week.

The Eagles are beginning to find some form following three wins from their last five games including an impressive win over Spurs last time out.

But I still think they'll feel a bit tired in this one because of them having played in Europe on Thursday and their lack of squad depth.

Leeds looked good as safe a few weeks ago but are now back in the relegation battle as they now find themselves just three points above the drop zone.

Daniel Farke's side have won just one of their last seven in the league and have been dragged back into the relegation battle because of West Ham's improved form.

They definitely need to start winning games again but I don't see it starting here because they haven't been as good away as they have been at home.

Palace feeling a bit tired will give them some hope and it's because of that I think they'll get at least a point here.

PREDICTION: 1-1

MAN UNITED V ASTON VILLA

Man United saw their unbeaten start under Michael Carrick come to an end last time out against Newcastle and the defeat was probably coming as they haven't played as well in recent weeks as they did during Carrick's first few games in charge.

This will be his first test since taking over as his side come into this game off the back of a defeat and they're playing a side who are just a place below them in the table.

Villa have dropped off a lot since Christmas and they're still in the top four because of Liverpool and Chelsea both being inconsistent.

Unai Emery's side will have John McGinn back for this one which is a massive boost because he's been such a big loss for them whilst he's been out injured.

But whilst McGinn's return is a big boost for Villa, I still think United will come out on top here as they've been in good form at home and can see them bouncing back from their defeat at Newcastle.

PREDICTION: 2-0

NOTTINGHAM FOREST V FULHAM

Forest showed against Man City that they have the character and fight to stay up by coming from behind twice to get a deserved point.

But they're still without a win since Vitor Pereira took over and they come into this game off the back of playing in Europe during the week.

Fulham went out of the FA Cup to Southampton last weekend where they were disappointing after making nine changes.

Marco Silva's side will be looking to put that disappointment behind them in this game and with Forest likely to feel a bit tired as a result of them playing in Europe during the week, I can see the Cottagers pounce on this and claim the points.

PREDICTION: 0-1

LIVERPOOL V TOTTENHAM

Liverpool won the title they won this fixture last season which feels like a long time ago based on how this season has gone for them.

The reds were outfought by Galatasaray in midweek which was a game I was expecting them to lose as they lost to the Turkish side earlier in the season.

Spurs got humiliated by Atletico Madrid in midweek and I really felt for their goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky after he was subbed off after just 17 minutes following his two mistakes.

This game could well be Igor Tudor's last match in charge if he loses it and I seriously think it could be because Spurs have only got worse under his management following four defeats from four games.

His appointment did raise some eyebrows as he had never managed in the Premier League before and it is turning into a complete disaster.

I can only see things get worse for him in this one as I'm backing Liverpool to win this game and very comfortably.

PREDICTION: 4-1

BRENTFORD V WOLVES

Brentford had one of the best home records in the league earlier in the season but since the turn of the year, they've won just once at the Gtech and are also without a win in their last three home games.

Wolves are still without a win away from home this season but they do come into this game with some confidence on board following back-to-back wins in the league against Villa and Liverpool.

They'll definitely show some fight as they have done since the turn of the year. But I fancy Brentford to just edge it because of their strong home record despite their lack of wins at home in recent weeks.

PREDICTION: 2-1
