My second top 10 of the week would normally be a European related one, but with this weekend being an FA Cup weekend I've decided to do an FA Cup related top 10.
This week I'm doing FA Cup goals.
The FA Cup has seen many shocks and great games over the years as well as some great sides win the competition itself. But it has also seen some great goals.
Many great goals have been scored in this competition over the years at every stage of the competition, even in the qualifying rounds.
But it's the goals from the 3rd Round onwards that get remembered best and all the goals on the list are from that point onwards.
But some unfortunately didn't make the cut like Alexis Sanchez's strike in the 2015 final against Aston Villa, which is one I probably could've thought of.
Now it's time to reveal the list:
Ryan Giggs - Arsenal v Man United - 1999
Ricky Villa - Tottenham v Man City - 1981
Steven Gerrard - Liverpool v West Ham - 2006
Ronnie Radford - Hereford v Newcastle - 1972
Paul Gascoigne - Tottenham v Arsenal - 1991
Youri Tielemans - Chelsea v Leicester - 2021
Nemanja Matic - Chelsea v Tottenham - 2017
Ilkay Gundogan - Man City v Man United - 2023
Curtis Jones - Liverpool v Everton - 2020
Jesse Lingard - Crystal Palace v Man United - 2016
Ricky Villa - Tottenham v Man City
Ricky Villa ran the show in the 1981 final as he netted twice with one of his goals being a brilliant solo effort.
His run started a few yards outside the Man City penalty area and as he entered the box, he beat three Man City players with incredible agility before placing the ball into the net.
This goal is one of the most iconic in FA Cup history and it was the goal that won the cup for Spurs.
Ilkay Gundogan - Man City v Man United
Gundogan scored twice in the 2023 final against Man United and his first one was the best of the two.
He started the move from the centre circle from the kick off and just a matter of seconds later, he got on the end of a headed clearance and hit the ball first time on the volley and into the back of the net.
This goal came after just 12 seconds and became the quickest scored in an FA Cup final.
Jesse Lingard - Crystal Palace v Man United
Lingard's strike in the 2016 final was his first time on the volley and was the winning goal in the final after extra time.
After Antonio Valencia's cross into the box was intercepted by the Palace defence, Lingard was in the right place at the right time to hit the ball on the volley and into the top corner, not long after he entered the penalty area.
Lingard's career has faded massively in recent years and he's now playing his trade in South Korea for FC Seoul.
Curtis Jones - Liverpool v Everton
I couldn't stop watching Curtis Jones' strike against Everton in the days after it was scored, and I could probably continue watching it a number of times more.
He received the ball outside the box from Divock Origi's pass and just a few seconds later, he hit a brilliant curling strike into the top corner.
He announced himself on the scene with this goal at the age of 19 and he has since go on to establish himself as a key player for Liverpool.
Nemanja Matic - Chelsea v Tottenham
Matic's goal against Spurs was struck from about 25 yards out and when he struck the ball, it flew right into the top corner.
The ball was given to him by Eden Hazard after the latter performed a one-two with Fabregas, and Matic then hit the ball first time into the top corner.
He's never been afraid to shoot from that sort of distance having done it one or two times before, one being for Man United against Crystal Palace the following season.
His strike against Spurs was a brilliant strike and one that keepers have no chance of saving.
Ronnie Radford - Hereford v Newcastle
This goal is one of the most iconic in FA Cup history and it came in one of the biggest shocks in FA Cup history as well.
It started off when Radford won the ball off Newcastle player John Tudor with a well timed tackle. After winning the ball, he did a one-two with Brian Owen before striking the ball first time from about 25-30 yards out into the top corner.
The Hereford fans invaded the pitch after the goal was scored, and it took the game to extra time. Hereford would go on to win 2-1 and cause one of the biggest cup upsets.
Youri Tielemans - Chelsea v Leicester
Tielemans' goal in the 2021 final was the goal that won the cup for Leicester and it has to go down as one of the best goals ever scored in an FA Cup final.
He struck the ball from about 20-25 yards out after receiving the ball from Luke Thomas' pass and when he struck the ball, it flew right into the top corner.
It was a brilliant goal and one worthy of winning any cup final. What it made even better was the fans celebrating inside the stadium after several of months of empty stadiums due to the COVID pandemic.
Paul Gascoigne - Tottenham v Arsenal
Gazza was a player who could do almost anything with the ball at his feet, including this brilliant free kick against Arsenal in the 1991 semi finals.
The free kick was taken from about 30 yards and instead of playing a looped ball into the penalty area, Gazza went for goal and hit a brilliantly struck free kick into the top corner.
This goal is one of the most iconic moments in FA Cup history and the one that set Spurs on their way to winning the game and reaching the final, which they would go on to win.
Ryan Giggs - Arsenal v Man United
Giggs had bags of pace and incredible agility during his early years, and he showed both during his incredible solo goal against Arsenal in the semi finals of 1999.
His run started inside his own half after he intercepted a pass from an Arsenal player and he ran at the Arsenal defence at pace before using his agility to beat three Arsenal defenders before putting the ball past David Seaman.
This goal is one of the most iconic in FA Cup history and he celebrated by pulling off his shirt and showing off his hairy chest.
Steven Gerrard - Liverpool v West Ham
This goal had to be my no.1 because of the timing of the goal and how iconic both the goal and the moment was.
Gerrard had cramp in the lead up to the goal and just when you thought he had nothing more to give, he he came up with something spectacular in a 30 yard strike which he hit into the bottom corner.
Liverpool were trailing in the final moments of the game and needed something spectacular to keep their hopes alive. Gerrard provided it with this goal which took the game to extra time.
He dragged Liverpool over the line in this final, just like he did the year before in the Champions League final against AC Milan in Istanbul.
