Winning a league title in any country is never easy because it's a long season and you need to be incredibly consistent because the team below you may be one or two points behind you.
There have however been teams who have won titles rather comfortably for several seasons due to no teams really pushing them with Bayern Munich and PSG being key examples as they've dominated the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 respectively for many years with no teams really challenging them.
Every league in Europe is different in terms of the pace of the game and also the physicality with the Premier League being quicker paced and more physical compared to Serie A where the games are slower and more about defensive shape.
To win a league title you need to have the right mentality within the group, a good team spirit and you also need to be strong in every position.
There is this one famous phrase from Alex Ferguson saying that "attack wins you games, defence wins you titles" and he of all people will know that because of the amount he won at Man United.
Many great teams have won titles over the years and a lot of them unfortunately didn't make it onto the list including the Real Madrid teams that won titles and the Barcelona and Bayern Munich treble winning sides from 2015 and 2020 respectively.
Now here is the list:
Barcelona - 2008/09
Man City - 2022/23
Man United - 1998/99
Juventus - 2011/12
Bayern Munich - 2012/13
Liverpool - 2019/20
Man City - 2017/18
Arsenal - 2003/04
Chelsea - 2004/05
Man United - 2007/08
Juventus - 2011/12
This Juventus team went the entire season unbeaten in Antonio Conte's first season in charge and was the start of their long dominance of Serie A.
But I had to put them down in 10th because they didn't score a lot of goals over the course of the season as they scored 68 throughout the entire campaign with their top goal scorer in Alessandro Matri netting just 10 times.
Their title win was built on having a strong defence and it was their defence that won them the title as they conceded just 20 goals and kept an incredible 21 clean sheets.
They had one of the best keepers in Europe at the time in Gianluigi Buffon and two solid central defenders in front of him in Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci whose strong partnership played an integral role in Juve going the entire season unbeaten.
Man United - 2007/08
Alex Ferguson had two great Man United teams during his time at the club with his team being his second great team.
They won a Premier League and Champions League during this season with their title win re-establishing dominance on the Premier League after winning back the title the season before.
This team was strong in every area as they had one of the best keepers around at the time in Edwin Van Der Sar, three solid defenders in Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra, two fine passers in midfield in Paul Scholes and Michael Carrick and easily the best front three in Europe at the time in Carlos Tevez, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The 2007/08 season was the season where Ronaldo first became the best player in the world as he scored an incredible 31 goals which at the time was a record for a 38-game season.
Chelsea - 2004/05
This Chelsea team broke up the long rivalry between Arsenal and Man United by beating both of them to the title in Jose Mourinho's first season in charge.
This team were built on having such a strong defence as they conceded just 15 goals and kept 24 clean sheets which both remain as records to this day.
They ended the season with 95 points which at the time was the record for most points in a Premier League season and lost just once all season.
Mourinho turned a lot of the players into top quality players including John Terry, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba who were a core part of this side along with Petr Cech and Claude Makelele.
He also changed the mentality of both the club and the team by changing the mindset of the players from playing for money to playing to win trophies.
Liverpool - 2019/20
This Liverpool team were known as mentality monsters because of how relentless they were throughout the season and the amount of times they came from behind to win games.
They were pipped to the Premier League title by Man City the season before and they carried their form at the back end of that season into this one as they went the entire first half of the season unbeaten and just kept on winning games.
This title win ended the reds 30 year wait for a league title and they won it rather comfortably with 99 points and by a staggering 18 points.
They had quality players in every position including keeper Alisson, their two marauding full backs in Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson, their Rolls-Royce centre back in Virgil Van Dijk, and of course their iconic front three of Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
Arsenal - 2003/04
This Arsenal team as everyone knows were known as the Invincibles as they went the entire season unbeaten which no team in Premier League history has ever done.
This team had such a solid backbone to it and a never say die attitude as they would just refuse to lose games of football because of the team spirit they had.
Their solid backbone made them such a difficult team to play against because of how solid a team they were defensively and the toughness they had both in defence and midfield also.
Sol Campbell and Kolo Toure provided the defensive security, Patrick Vieira gave the midfield muscle and endurance whilst the likes of Pires, Bergkamp and Henry provided the flair and goals in attack.
Man City - 2017/18
Man City's Centurions took football onto another level in the Premier League because of the football they played which was a joy to watch and would blow teams away.
Pep Guardiola had everything he wanted after a challenging first season in that he had the players he wanted to fit his system in a goalkeeper who could use his feet in Ederson and full backs who could provide width like Kyle Walker.
The team were also full ingrained to how Pep wanted them to play with Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva in particular being at the heart of everything they did with their creativity and ability to run games from midfield.
They also had a feared front three of Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero and Leroy Sane who all got the fair share of the goals and linked up with one another many times throughout the season.
This team changed the way football was played in England as almost every team since has played the way they did in playing out from the back with both their keepers and centre backs being comfortable in possession.
Man United - 1998/99
This Man United team won the treble and was the first great side Fergie had and without a doubt his best one.
They had quality players all over the pitch and on the bench too as they were able to bring on players who could make an impact from the bench.
The list of quality players they had was endless as they had the likes of Schmeichel, Stam, Keane, Scholes, Beckham, Giggs, Cole and Yorke.
The striker partnership of Cole and Yorke was instrumental to them winning the treble because of the goals they scored and the amount of times they inked up on the pitch.
And when they both needed a rest, United had two players on their bench who they could rely on in Sheringham and Solskjaer who always made an impact when they came on.
Bayern Munich - 2012/13
This Bayern Munich team also won the treble and they won the Bundesliga by a staggering 25 points ending the season with 91 points.
Winning the title was the start of their long dominance of the Bundesliga and it was Jupp Heynckes to led them before handing over the reins to Pep Guardiola the following summer.
They had quality players all over the pitch including Neuer, Lahm, Boateng, Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Robben, Ribery and Muller.
They scored 98 goals in the Bundesliga that season and they were unstoppable in the Champions League also as they hammered Barcelona in both legs of their semi final tie.
Man City - 2022/23
This Man City side also won the treble and they complete it by finally ending long wait to win the Champions League which was the trophy they'd been craving for so long.
They won the Premier League title by going on an incredible run of form towards the end of the season which ultimately won them the title and their 3rd on the spin.
Erling Haaland proved to be the difference for them that season as he netted a record breaking 36 league goals to win them the title and 51 goals in all competitions.
Their side also had the likes of De Bruyne, Rodri, Gundogan, Stones and Bernardo Silva as well as Haaland with all of them playing a key role in them winning all the competitions they won in the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.
Barcelona - 2008/09
Barcelona's treble winning team of 2009 had to be my no.1 because of the football they played and the quality of players they had.
This team are one of my favourites teams of all-time because of the quality of players they had in it including the likes of Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Puyol, Pique and of course Lionel Messi.
They were a team who outplayed the opposition because of how quickly they could move the ball and how good they were at keeping hold of it and especially as they had two pass masters in Xavi and Iniesta.
Messi was of course the star of the team and it was during this season where he first became the best player in the world as his game went onto another level with the goals he scored and the influential performances he out in.
The front three they had of Messi, Eto'o and Henry tore teams to shreds and were the best front three in Europe at the time because of the goals they all scored and the way they all linked up and interchanged with one another.
MY TOP 10:
Barcelona - 2008/09
