The draw for the Champions League Group Stages was made a couple of days ago with some very interesting ties to look forward to. This is what I think of the draw.

Out of all the English sides, Liverpool have toughest draw as they'll be up against Ajax, Napoli and Rangers. Ajax will definitely be a tough tie as they've won the Dutch Eredivisie for the last three seasons whilst Napoli are always a tough team to play against. Rangers may look the most winnable on paper but after their impressive run in the Europa League last season, they could also be another tough test for the reds aloingside Ajax and Napoli who will no doubt be the toughest.

Spurs have the easiest group out of all of them as they'll be facing Eintracht Frankfurt, Sporting Lisbon and Marseille. Eintract Frankfurt will test them after winning the Europa League last season but Spurs should still have enough quality to get out and potentially win the group.

Both Man City and Chelsea should have enough to get out of their respective groups as most of their games do look winnable. Chelsea do have one tough opponent in Serie A champions AC Milan but they should still have more than enough to qualify from their group. City have a couple of difficult opponents in Sevilla and Borussia Dortmund but they should still be able to beat both of them and top the group.

The Group of death is without a doubt Group C which contains Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Viktoria Plzen. Bayern will probably be the favourites to win the group because of the quality they possess whilst second spot will likely be contested between Barca and Inter who are both looking pretty strong this season.

Holders Real Madrid have a straight forward group as they'll be facing RB Leipzig, Shakhtar Donetsk and Celtic. Their rivals Atletico Madrid have a slightly more challenging group as they'll be facing Porto, Bayer Leverkusen and Club Brugges. Porto and Bayer Leverkusen will be challenging fixtures for them but they'll still be the favourites to qualify because of the quality of manager they have in Diego Simeone.

Group H meanwhile looks set to be a two horse race between PSG and Juventus with the other two teams in that group being Benfica and Maccabi Haifa. Benfica did reach the Quarter Finals last season but PSG and Juventus should still have more than enough to qualify because of the quality they both have.
