TUESDAY:
SPORTING LISBON V BODO/GLIMT
Sporting were well beaten in the first leg and their fans will be hoping for a response in this second leg. Especially as they're playing at home where their record has been very good.
Bodo/Glimt's performance in the first leg didn't surprise me at all because of the recent results they've had in this competition.
They're halfway from making Sporting their latest Champions League scalp and I think they'll make of it in this one by winning this second leg.
Sporting will show a bit more than they did in the first leg, but I still see Bodo winning this leg to comfortably see themselves through to the Quarter Finals.
PREDICTION: 0-2
ARSENAL V BAYER LEVERKUSEN
Arsenal were far from their best in the first leg and it was because of Leverkusen's game plan as the German side made it very difficult for them.
They might make changes for this game with the Carabao Cup final on Sunday in mind but they shouldn't make too many because they need to win this game to book their place in the Quarter Finals.
Leverkusen will take a lot of heart and confidence from their performance in the first leg and Kasper Hjulmand will want his side to repeat it in this one and they have to.
Arsenal will be expected to show more than they did in the first leg in this one because they're playing at home and when teams play at home, they more often than not increase their performance levels.
Leverkusen will again look to make it difficult for Arsenal, but I think the Gunners will up their game and nick the win because of them playing at home.
PREDICTION: 2-1
CHELSEA V PSG
Chelsea were in the game during the first leg up until Filip Jorgensen's mistake for Vitinha's goal which gave PSG the momentum to win the game.
The blues did everything but score against Newcastle on Saturday but their defending for the goal they conceded was poor as Tino Livramento was given to much room to play the pass to Anthony Gordon.
PSG took complete control of the game after Vitinha put them ahead following Jorgensen's mistake with Kvicha Kvaratskhelia's double from the bench ultimately winning them the game.
I fancy him to start this game following the impact he made from the bench in the first leg and I'm backing him to once again score and PSG to see themselves through to the next round.
PREDICTION: 1-3
MAN CITY V REAL MADRID
Man City were highly fancied to progress to the Quarter Finals heading into this tie because of the injuries Real had.
But now they have it all to do because of the margin by which they trail by.
Real Madrid will have Kylian Mbappe back for this leg and his return will no doubt make City's chances of a comeback very slim.
They didn't miss him one bit in the first leg as Ernesto Valverde stepped up with his first half hat trick. But his return is still a welcome boost for Real because of the quality of player he is.
I can't see anything other than another Real win here simply because Mbappe is back and I'm backing him to score at least twice to put the tie well beyond City.
PREDICTION: 1-3
WEDNESDAY:
BARCELONA V NEWCASTLE
Barcelona were far from their best in the first leg but I do think they'll put in a better showing in this one and especially as they're the home team for this leg.
They've won every game at home since returning to the Nou Camp which can be a difficult place for teams to play at because of the atmosphere the fans can generate inside the ground.
Newcastle were very unlucky not to win the first leg but their performance will give them a lot of encouragement and confidence heading into this second leg.
Eddie Howe's will expect a tougher game because of how strong Barca have been at home this season but they'll still look to play the same way they did in the first leg.
Because I think Barca will put in a better performance than they did in the first leg, I've got to back them to win this game and especially with the record they have at home.
I do see Newcastle having their moments, but I think Barca's quality will win it for them here.
PREDICTION: 2-0
BAYERN MUNICH V ATALANTA
Bayern Munich blew Atalanta away in the first leg and they might do the same in this second leg because they'll have Harry Kane back to lead their attack are missing the last few games due to injury.
I knew they would win the first leg without him because of the quality and depth they have in their attack which has arguably been the best in Europe's top five leagues.
They've scored 93 goals in the Bundesliga this season and it's because of their firepower that they're arguably the favourites to win this competition.
I thought Atalanta would put up more of a fight in the first because they were at home and they previously knocked out Borussia Dortmund in the play offs.
But instead they got properly humiliated and fear that they might get humiliated again in this one because of Bayern having Kane back.
Having said that, I actually think they will get humiliated again because of Bayern having Kane back and the fact that they're at home.
PREDICTION: 5-0
LIVERPOOL V GALATASARAY
Liverpool looked well off it in the first leg and it was a similar story on Sunday against Spurs as they looked a long way off their best in that one as well.
But I do see them put in a better performance here because they're at home and when they play at home on a Champions League night, the atmosphere is incredible and always intimidates the opposition.
Galatasaray were the deserved winners of the first leg but they will face a tougher test in this second leg because of how difficult a place Anfield is to play at on a European night.
They will surely know about the atmosphere the Liverpool fans can generate inside Anfield and they'll need to be ready for it if they're to hold onto their lead and reach the Quarter Finals.
Liverpool may not be convincing to watch at the moment, but I do think they'll turn it around and book their place in the Quarter Finals because I can see the fans spurring them on as they have done in Europe many times over the years.
PREDICTION: 2-0
TOTTENHAM V ATLETICO MADRID
Spurs showed a lot more fight and spirit against Liverpool than they have for most of the season and their performance could well be a turning point in their season.
They deserve credit for putting in the kind of performance they did after what happened in the first leg which was a disaster from start to finish.
The tie is good as over and Atletico Madrid made sure of that by punishing Spurs' mistakes and beating them as comfortably as they did.
They might not win this one as comfortably as Spurs might put in a similar kind of performance to the one they put in against Liverpool.
But Diego Simeone's side should still have enough in them to increase their advantage and book their place in the Quarter Finals.
PREDICTION: 1-3
