TUESDAY:

BARCELONA V PSG

Barcelona's subs made the difference for them in the first leg with Pedri and Christensen both coming off the bench to set up Raphinha's second and score the winning goal respectively.

PSG made a bright start to the second half of that game and will have felt disappointed that they weren't able to increase their lead. Those missed chances could come back to bite them here.

Barca carry a slender lead into this second leg and I think they'll build on it as they're the home team. The atmosphere at the Nou Camp can be electric o European nights and I can see the Nou Camp atmosphere push Barca all the way here.

PREDICTION: 2-1

BORUSSIA DORTMUND V ATLETICO MADRID

Dortmund ended the first leg very strongly and Sebastian Haller's consolation goal towards the end very much keeps them in this tie. That period of the game was their best spell of the entire match.

Atletico Madrid were in complete control for the majority of the first leg but they will have felt disappointed that they weren't able to extend their lead further. Especially with the amount of chances they had.

Diego Simeone's side will be up against it here as Dortmund are likely to come straight out the blocks as they're the home side. But I think Atletico's organised defence will have enough to keep them out here and see themselves through.

PREDICTION: 0-0

WEDNESDAY:

BAYERN MUNICH V ARSENAL

Bayern Munich saw their decade long dominance of the Bundesliga come to an end at the weekend as Bayer Leverkusen's win over Werder Bremen sealed them the title. That now leaves the Champions League as the only thing that Thomas Tuchel's side have left to play for this season.

Bayern's last two meetings with Arsenal at the Allianz Arena both ended with them winning 5-1 and although they might be the favourites to win this one, I don't see them winning it as comfortably. That is because they're up against a much stronger Arsenal team.

Arsenal will need to pick themselves up ahead of this one following their defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday, which dealt a blow to their Premier League title hopes.

The Gunners had some decent chances in the first leg and they should get some in this one as well as they have players who can cause Bayern problems.

But with Bayern having more experience at this level, I can see them use that experience to see themselves through here.

PREDICTION: 2-1

MAN CITY V REAL MADRID

Man City blew Real away in this fixture last season and they'll be feeling confident of doing the same in this one. Especially with the form they're in. Their victory last season sent out a message to the rest of Europe saying that they're ready to win the Champions League and their performances showed it.

The holders should have Rodri back for this one after getting his rest against Luton on Saturday where they didn't appear to miss him. But that does not mean that they can rest him for this one as this is the kind of game where they need him.

Real Madrid had some good chances after going ahead in the first leg and they'll feel disappointed that they weren't able to take them. Those missed chances could come back to bite them here.

Both teams will definitely go for it here like they did in the first leg which was an absolute classic. Just like this fixture was two seasons ago where City won 4-3.

Both teams will definitely score, but I think City will just about edge it as they have a bit more firepower than Madrid.

PREDICTION: 3-2
