FA Cup Quarter Final Draw Verdict

The draw for the FA Cup Quarter Finals was made last night and there are some interesting ties to look forward to later this month.

League 2 Grimsby who knocked out Southampton in the 5th Round have another chance to cause a major upset as they'll be travelling to another Premier League side in Brighton. This would be another major upset if they were to pull it off again because of the gap between the two sides.

Championship Burnley also have the chance to cause an upset as they'll be taking on Man City with Vincent Kompany returning to the Etihad for the first time since he left City in 2019. The Clarets have been flying in the Championship this season and it would be a massive shock if Kompany was to knock out his former club.

There is just one all Premier League tie in this round with Man United taking on Fulham where both sides will want to build on the success they've had this season by going far in this cup competition.

To there is also an all Championship affair with high flyers Sheffield United and Blackburn facing each other at Bramall Lane. Both sides knocked out Premier League opposition in the 5th Round and will both have the opportunity to book a place at Wembley for the semi finals.
