Is Antoine Semenyo attracting interest from the bigger clubs?
Antoine Semenyo has started the season in fine form as he's already got 6 goals to his name this season with only Erling Haaland scoring more.
His goals have been key to Bournemouth's strong start to the season and with the way he's started the season, is he beginning to attract interest from the bigger clubs?
Semenyo did sign a new contract over the summer which runs until 2030 but clubs may still be interest in signing him because when a player from a lesser side is playing well, the bigger clubs more often than not become interested in buying said player.
Semenyo's start to the season may have already got some of the bigger clubs thinking about the possibility of signing him either in January or next summer.
If he can keep up the current form he's in for most of the season, the bigger clubs could well be interested in signing him.
Does Arsenal's strength in depth make them title favourites?
Arsenal's squad has been talked about a lot this season because of the options they now have and a lot of people have been saying that their squad is the strongest in the Premier League.
I wrote on this a few weeks ago that their improved squad depth gives them a better chance of winning the title and after looking at how they've used their squad since then, does their strength in depth make them title favourites?
They've certainly been the best of the teams that could challenge for the title this season as Liverpool have been nowhere near their best in terms of their performances and Man City haven't really got going yet.
Their bench looks a lot stronger than it has done in recent seasons and that is because of the options they now have at their disposal.
They're also able to rest some of their big hitters and not let it affect them with the Nottingham Forest game being an example as they started Declan Rice on the bench but won 3-0.
Them being able to rest big name players is a sign that Mikel Arteta trusts his fringe players to go out there to perform and that his squad is also stronger.
Title winning teams in the past have had both a strong eleven and a strong bench with the Man City teams under Pep and even the Man United teams under Alex Ferguson being prime examples. They won their titles because of them having not just a strong starting 11, but also a strong bench with players who can come on and make an impact when required.
If Arsenal can keep players fit and continue to use their squad the way they have done this season, they might well be the favourites for the title.
Is Ange on thin ice at Forest?
Ange Postecoglou has only been at Nottingham Forest for seven games and already the pressure is on him as he's still waiting for his first win in charge, and it is rumoured that he is due to hold talks with owner Angelos Marinakis.
This got me asking if he's on thin ice already?
A section of their fans were chanting "you're getting sacked in the morning" towards him after their Europa League defeat to Midtjylland on Thursday where they were also chanting the name of his predecessor Nuno Espirito Santo.
The fans doing that will have no doubt put the pressure on Postecoglou to not just get results, but to win them over.
The pressure on him will be bigger now following their defeat at Newcastle on Sunday which extended his winless start and left Forest just a point above the relegation zone in 17th.
Forest have some difficult games coming up after the international with Chelsea, Bournemouth, Man United and Leeds in their next four before the next international break.
Whether he gets those games will depend on the outcome of his discussion with owner Angelos Marinakis who he is rumoured to hold talks with over his future.
If he is given those games and he fails to win at least the first two, he could well be on thin ice.
