Is Fabian Hurzeler under pressure?

Brighton's 1-1 draw with Everton was followed by a roar of boos from the home supporters at full time following yet another draw.

They've picked up more draws than any other team this season with 10 and have won just 1 of their last 11 league games.

A number of their fans are not happy with Fabian Hurzeler in charge and because of this and the form they're in; is Hurzeler under pressure?

One of the reasons why the fans aren't satisfied with Hurzeler is because of the changes he makes during games which cost his team points.

The Seagulls fans have the right to be frustrated because their team are not winning games and are dropping important points and when this happens, they slowly begin to turn on the manager because he's the one who sends the team out there to perform.

Hurzeler has done a decent job since he's been at Brighton as he led them to a top 10 finish last season during his first season in charge and he can still do the same this season as they're only two points behind 10th placed Newcastle.

You also have to remember that he's still a young manager at 32 years of age and is still learning on the job despite having manager for a number of years before taking the Brighton job.

But he still needs to get results because his team are not in great form a potion of the Brighton fans are against him because of their recent results and his decision making during games.

If their poor form continues over the next few weeks, he could well be under pressure.

Wirtz and Ekitike are the future of Liverpool

Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike have developed a strong partnership in recent weeks and it was on show during Liverpool's 4-1 win over Newcastle with Wirtz setting up Ekitike's first goal and the pair of them linking up several times during the game.

They've combined for six goals in the Premier League this season which is more than any other duo and you have to say that they're the future of Liverpool.

I say this because they're both young and have bright futures in the game because of the potential they both have.

They're both going to get better and their partnership is only going to continue to grow because of them being young which is no doubt exciting news for Liverpool.

If their partnership continues to grow for the rest of the season and over the next few seasons, Liverpool could have more successful season ahead of them.

Could Dominic Solanke's return be the difference for Spurs?

Spurs have lacked a clinical no.9 all season and their lack of one has been one of the reasons why they've had such a difficult season.

But that problem might be about to be fixed now Dominic Solanke is back from injury after four months out with an ankle problem.

He's scored four goals in the five games since returning from injury including a double against Man City where Spurs came from 2-0 down to nick a 2-2 draw.

After netting twice in that game and with the form he's been in since his return, could his return be the difference for Spurs in their quest to turn their season around?

He showed against City what difference he can make when available by scoring his two goals including an exquisite scorpion kick.

He gave Spurs what they've been lacking in an out and out no.9 who can score goals and his double against City will give both him and Spurs confidence moving forward. This is because goals are what give a striker confidence and having a striker who can score goals up top give a team a better chance of winning games of football.

If he can stay fit and keep up the current form he's been in for the rest of the season, Spurs could start climbing the table and he could also put himself in contention for an England recall. Especially with the World Cup coming up.
