THURSDAY:
FULHAM V CHELSEA
Fulham have won all three of their league games since the World Cup break but their chances of making it four wins on the spin in this one look pretty slim. This is because they're going to be without talisman Aleksandar Mitrovic who is suspended after picking up 5 yellow cards.
The Cottagers have a terrible record against their South London rivals with their last win against them coming back in 2006 which is their only win against them in the Premier League. They would've had a great chance of ending that hoodoo had Mitrovic been available but as he isn't they might have to wait for a victory against Chelsea.
Chelsea are a team with a number of problems at the moment right through their team. They have a long list of injuries which have no doubt affected them and they look like a team who don't know what they're doing. That was certainly the case against Man City in the FA Cup where they simply did not turn up.
Graham Potter finds himself under a lot pressure with those problems and his sides' current form with just one win from eight league games. I said not that long ago that the job was too big for him and I still think that now given the problems he's had since he arrived. I even feel that Chelsea were better off in keeping Thomas Tuchel.
PREDICTION: 1-1
I would've gone with a Fulham win had Mitrovic been available but because he isn't I'm going for a draw. I'm predicting a draw because of the current form Chelsea are in and the problems they have. I don't see a convincing performance in them at the moment due to the form they're in and I can see another flat showing from them here.
