WEDNESDAY:

ARSENAL V EVERTON

This is a massive opportunity for Arsenal to extend their lead at the top further with this being a game in hand. They'll go five clear of Man City if they win this one which will give them some breathing space at the top heading into their weekend clash with Bournemouth.

Everton's win in the reverse fixture was Sean Dyche's first game in charge and since then not much has changed. They're still in and around the relegation places and are still struggling to score goals. They did have more of a go against Aston Villa at the weekend but they couldn't take their chances.

They're clearly missing Dominic Calvert Lewin and I've been saying for a while. They should've got a striker in January because of their lack of goals and Calvert Lewin's injury troubles but were unable to do either. I do fear for them for the rest of the season.

PREDICTION: 2-0

I've got to go for an Arsenal win here because they have more goals in them and Everton are still without Calvert Lewin. The Toffees will make it difficult for them defensively but the Gunners should be able to find a way round their defence with the creativity and pace they have in the side.

LIVERPOOL V WOLVES

These two have played each other three times already this season in the FA Cup and Premier League respectively.

I felt Liverpool were fortunate to come away with a draw at Crystal Palace on Saturday which was another unconvincing performance at both ends. They made a number of errors defensively that luckily weren't punished and were not clinical in the final third.

This is one of two games in hand that Liverpool have and they'll need maximum points from both if they're to finish in the top four. I'm not too optimistic about their chances of finishing 4th but if they win their games in hand and other results go in their favour, they've got a chance.

Wolves were brilliant in their win over the reds in the reverse fixture a few weeks ago and their performance from that game will give them confidence going into this one. It be a much tougher game this time round as they'll be playing at Anfield which is a tough place to go to. But they'll still give themselves a chance because of the result and performance they got in the reverse fixture.

PREDICTION: 1-1

I don't see Liverpool losing here as they're at home but I don't see them winning either as they're not looking at all convincing at the moment. But as Wolves don't score many goals themselves, I can see the points being shared here.
