It was transfer deadline day yesterday so I've decided to make this week's Premier League top 10 about deadline day moments.
Transfer deadline day is one of the busiest days in football because a number of clubs are trying to get deals done before the window slams shut.
Many players have moved clubs on deadline day including the players who have been linked with a move throughout the entire window.
As well as deals getting done, many other things have happened on deadline day including Harry Redknapp being interviewed by journalists in his car outside which has happened a number of times over the years.
Redknapp got many deals done on deadline day during his managerial career and was always up to talking to journalists whilst in his car outside his club's own training ground.
The moments in the list are a mixture of deals getting done and stories behind the scenes with most of them being behind deals that didn't get done.
Now here is the list:
Peter Odemwingie turning up at Loftus Road - 2013
Arsenal sign Mesut Ozil - 2013
Liverpool sign Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll as Fernando Torres goes to Chelsea - 2011
Ryan Babel's helicopter ride - 2010
Javier Mascherano and Carlos Tevez join West Ham - 2006
Ashley Cole joins Chelsea - 2006
David De Gea and the fax machine - 2015
Harry Redknapp puts Benjani on a plane - 2008
Adrien Silva's move to Leicester being done 14 seconds late - 2017
Spurs sign Rafa Van Der Vaart - 2010
Adrien Silva's move to Leicester being done 14 seconds late
Everything was in place for Adrien Silva to join Leicester on deadline day in 2017 including the transfer fee and the length of contract.
But the paperwork was submitted 14 seconds late which meant that he wasn't able to register as a Leicester at the time.
He did however eventually become a Leicester player four months later in January 2018 after the same fee was agreed and he was even given the no.14 shirt, as a nod to his original move being done 14 seconds late.
This moment had to be at no.10 because it wasn't as iconic as the other moments in the list.
Harry Redknapp puts Benjani on a plane
Harry Redknapp has been involved in many deadline day stories over the years as I mentioned earlier with his most famous one being the one where he tried to sell Benjani to Man City when he was Portsmouth manager.
Man City offered Portsmouth £9.5 million to sign Benjani and Redknapp was willing to go through with the sale.
But Benjani didn't want to go through with it as he was happy at Portsmouth at the time so Redknapp drove him to the airport so he could catch as flight to Manchester.
But Benjani ended up missing two flights and after learning this and with the clock ticking till the transfer window closed, Redknapp literally pushed him onto the plane so he could get the deal done.
The deal was eventually done just before the deadline.
Ryan Babel's helicopter ride
Ryan Babel's helicopter ride in 2010 was known as the 'Babelcopter' incident where he flew to London in his helicopter hoping to join West Ham.
Liverpool at the time were trying to sign Carlton Cole from West Ham as part of a swap deal for Babel which never materialised after Babel found out he was joining the Hammers permanently instead of loan.
No one knew if the helicopter had landed at the time the incident took place and Babel later posted on his Twitter page that he was going nowhere.
But Babel revealed in an interview a few years ago that it did land in London and after a deal fell through, he took a train back to Liverpool.
Arsenal sign Mesut Ozil
Arsenal and Arsene Wenger got a lot of stick during the summer of 2013 for a lack of singings and lack of spending during the transfer window.
With their fans crying out for their club to bring in a big name player, Wenger got out his cheque book on deadline day and from out of nowhere signed Mesut Ozil for a then-club record fee of £42 million.
The Arsenal fans got excited when they found out that the club were in talks with Real Madrid to sign Ozil and when the deal was signed, there was complete jubilation.
They tried to sign Luis Suarez from Liverpool earlier in the summer for about £40 million plus an extra pound which unfortunately fell through.
The Gunners were having a frustrating window from that point onwards up until deadline day when they signed Ozil which was seen as a statement of intent by them.
Spurs sign Rafa Van Der Vaart
Spurs signing Rafa Van Der Vaart was a signing that literally no one saw coming because very few people expected a player of Van Der Vaart's quality to join a club like Spurs, who at the time had just qualified for the Champions League for the first time.
Spurs did need players of Champions League quality and experience in order for them to compete in that competition and with hours left on the clock, they somehow pulled off a deal to sign Van Der Vaart from Real Madrid.
Spurs signing Van Der Vaart was a statement of intent from them for the season ahead because of the quality of player Van Der Vaart was and him being someone who could take Spurs onto another level.
Ashley Cole joins Chelsea
Ashley Cole joining Chelsea from Arsenal is one of the most controversial transfers in Premier League history and a saga that lasted an entire summer.
Chelsea tried to sign Cole the summer before after he had a meeting with Jose Mourinho in London for which he was fined and Chelsea were being accused of tapping him up.
The summer of 2006 saw Chelsea step up their efforts to sign him and the saga really kick off as Arsenal offered Cole a new contract which he later declined because he was not happy with the amount of money he was offered, which was less than what Chelsea were offering him and forced him to seek a move away from the club.
He was given the nickname 'Cashley' by the Arsenal fans because of his desire to move being for money and he eventually got his wish as he joined Chelsea on deadline day for £5 million in a swap deal with William Gallas.
Javier Mascherano and Carlos Tevez join West Ham
Mascherano and Tevez joining West Ham was another controversial transfer as by buying these two players they broke third party ownership rules due to being owned by their agent and his company Media Sports Investment.
West Ham were later fined £5.5 million several months later but not deducted points which some clubs felt they should've been including the ones in and around them in the Premier League that season.
This transfer was also one that no one saw coming because they were both among the best young players in in the world at the time after impressing for Argentina at the 2006 World Cup and a lot of people expected them to join a bigger club.
But they both ended up at West Ham and played a major role in them pulling off the great escape that season after being 10 points adrift with a handful of games left..
Liverpool sign Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll as Fernando Torres goes to Chelsea
Deadline Day in January 2011 was one of the busiest deadline days ever with this moment being the standout of the day.
Torres was strongly linked with a move to Chelsea in the days leading up to deadline day after handing in a transfer request at Liverpool and it was Chelsea who made the first move by signing Torres for a then-record fee of £50 million.
Whilst that deal was being prepared, Liverpool had their replacement for Torres lined up as they used the money they got for him to sign both Suarez and Carroll.
They were in talks with Ajax to buy Suarez before deadline day and it was on deadline day where the deal was announced before they put in a then-club record fee of £35 million to sign Andy Carroll from Newcastle.
David De Gea and the fax machine
One of the most iconic deadline day moments ever.
David De Gea was all set to join Real Madrid on deadline day in the summer of 2015 after a deal between the two clubs was agreed.
But the deal fell through due to the Man United fax machine breaking down and not receiving the full details of the transfer.
The Man United fans will be thanking the fax machine for breaking down because De Gea continued to keep them in games time and time again over the next few seasons.
Peter Odemwingie turning up at Loftus Road
Peter Odemwingie turning up at Loftus Road on deadline day in January 2013 had to be my no.1 because it's the most talked about and most iconic deadline day moment.
QPR were interested in signing Odemwingie from West Brom in the weeks and days leading up to deadline day and Odemwingie even expressed his desire to leave the Baggies.
He showed up at Loftus Road in the final hours of deadline day in an attempt to force a move and hoping that a deal was agreed between the two clubs.
But it never was and Odemwingie had to make the long drive back to the black country.
