Top 10 Champions League Goalkeepers
I would normally do a European football related top 10 later in the week but with this week being a Champions League week, I've decided to do it earlier in the week instead. This week's European football top 10 is Champions League goalkeepers. Many of the best keepers in Europe have lit up the Champions League over the years and a lot of them have even gone on to win it. The role of a keeper has definitely changed over the years as they're now being asked to use their feet an

Key Points of the Weekend
Chelsea lack leaders I've been saying this about Chelsea for a while now and it was certainly evident in their draw with Burnley on Saturday. The goal they conceded was poorly defended as Zian Fleming was not marked or picked up by any Chelsea defender before he headed home the equaliser from the corner. The blues could've easily conceded two more goals from corners as their defending from both was poor because no one was marking or picking up the Burnley player who made the

Premier League Predictions; Matchweek 27
SATURDAY: ASTON VILLA V LEEDS Villa could put themselves back in the title race if they win this game as victory will move them to within five points of leaders Arsenal. Their chances were probably dismissed a few weeks ago but Arsenal dropping points recently has allowed them a way back in. Leeds haven't been as strong away as they have been at home this season as they've won just once on the road all season and they're facing a Villa side have who have a strong home record.

Top 10 Divisive Players
Divisive players are players who divide opinion and the Premier League has seen many of them over the years. There are a number of reasons why a player divides opinion including not delivering for their side week in week out, committing unnecessary fouls and even doing things that are seen as controversial. The players in the list are a mixture of all of them with one or two of the players in it being divisive due to reasons that are different to the ones I mentioned earlier.

Top 10 Champions League Full Backs
I would normally do a European football related top 10 later in the week but with the Champions League back this week ahead of the knockout play offs, I've decided to switch them around and do a Champions League related top 10. The Match of the Day Top 10 Podcast did a Champions League series towards the end of last season which included goal scorers, centre backs and midfielders. I've decided to do the other positions they didn't do starting with full backs. Many of the best

FA Cup 5th Round Draw Verdict
The draw for the fifth round of the FA Cup was made earlier this evening and there are a few interesting ties to looks forward to next month. This is what I think of the draw. We could have a couple of shocks coming from League 1 sides in Port Vale and Mansfield. Mansfield have the toughest tie between the two of them as they'll be facing Arsenal which would be one of the biggest shocks in the competition if they were to pull it off. Port Vale meanwhile could face Sunderland

Midweek Premier League Predictions
WEDNESDAY: WOLVES V ARSENAL Wolves gave Arsenal a good game when the two sides met in the reverse fixture back in December and will no doubt be looking to do the same thing in this one. They've got nothing to lose as they're all but relegated and will want to end the season as strongly as they can so they don't go down with a whimper. Arsenal are on the hunt for a quadruple which Mikel Arteta hasn't ruled out given his reaction to the question he was asked about it after thei

FA Cup 4th Round Predictions
FRIDAY: HULL V CHELSEA Hull are flying in the Championship with the Tigers currently sitting inside the play offs and six points outside the automatic promotion places after being widely tipped to go down at the start of the season. Chelsea boss Liam Roesnior used to manage Hull and he returns to the KCOM for the first time since he was sacked nearly two years ago despite finishing 7th that very season. He's made a strong start to life as Chelsea boss and he'll no doubt be lo

Top 10 Rest Of The World
Many players right across the world have lit up the game of football over the years including the ones from North America, Asia and the Caribbean which is what this top 10 is about. A lot of players from those continents have been scouted by European clubs because they give them the chance to develop as players, something they probably weren't given the chance to if they stayed in their own country. They arrive in Europe relatively unknown as they're arriving from a country w

Top 10 Right-Footed Players
There have been many played who have had a deadly right foot in the Premier League over the years with the majority of them being among the greatest players to have ever played in the Premier League. The majority of players in general are right footed like most people are right handed and I even found out recently that about 90% of people are right footed/handed. I mentioned earlier that most of the greatest Premier League players are right footed and you'll see that when I r

Premier League Predictions: Matchweek 26
TUESDAY: CHELSEA V LEEDS Chelsea have made a 100% start under Liam Rosenior in the Premier League and he deserves a lot of credit for the start he's made. He had his doubters when he first got the job because of Chelsea being a massive club and his lack of experience as a manager, but he's quietly silencing his doubters. It was good to see Cole Palmer back among the goals against Wolves over the weekend with his hat trick and if he can stay fit and in form, he'll hopefully pu

Key Points of the Weekend
Is Victor Gyokeres finally delivering for Arsenal? Viktor Gyokeres has had a tough debut season at Arsenal as he hasn't quite delivered the goals that many people thought he would given that he was brought in to be that 20+ goals a season striker Arsenal were crying out for. He's barely been in games due to a lack of service and him maybe still adjusting to the pace and physicality of the Premier League alongside the way Arsenal want to play. But after scoring 7 goals in his

January Team of the Month
GK: DAVID RAYA (ARSENAL) - Raya kept 3 clean sheets during January and made a number of important saves as Arsenal kept up their title challenge. The Gunners did drop off slightly during the month and if it wasn't for Raya, they might've lost top spot. RB: NORDI MUKIELE (SUNDERLAND) - Mukiele has been one of Sunderland's standout performers this season and especially during January. He put in a good shift at both ends of the pitch in making key interventions defensively and o

Premier League Predictions: Matchweek 25
FRIDAY: LEEDS V NOTTINGHAM FOREST This relegation six-pointer is a must win for both teams as a win for either of them will give them plenty of breathing space between themselves and West Ham. Leeds were taught a lesson by Arsenal last weekend which can happen to any team but I did think they would make it a tougher game than it was. The momentum is more with Forest coming into this game as they're on a four game unbeaten run which included two wins and a draw each with both

Top 10 Derbies
Derbies are the games every fan looks forward to when the fixtures come out before the start of every season and when they come round, there is an almighty buzz in the city it's taking place in. There have been many great derbies in football over the years right across Europe and they're great because of the rivalry between the two teams and the quality of games they produce. They're games that both fans and players are massively up for and want to win because of the importan

Top 10 Deadline Day Moments
It was transfer deadline day yesterday so I've decided to make this week's Premier League top 10 about deadline day moments. Transfer deadline day is one of the busiest days in football because a number of clubs are trying to get deals done before the window slams shut. Many players have moved clubs on deadline day including the players who have been linked with a move throughout the entire window. As well as deals getting done, many other things have happened on deadline day

Key Points of the Weekend
Is Fabian Hurzeler under pressure? Brighton's 1-1 draw with Everton was followed by a roar of boos from the home supporters at full time following yet another draw. They've picked up more draws than any other team this season with 10 and have won just 1 of their last 11 league games. A number of their fans are not happy with Fabian Hurzeler in charge and because of this and the form they're in; is Hurzeler under pressure? One of the reasons why the fans aren't satisfied with

Premier League Predictions: Matchweek 24
SATURDAY: BRIGHTON V EVERTON Brighton are one of those teams who create a lot of chances and play on the front foot but aren't always clinical in front of goal. They've picked up the joint most draws this season along with Sunderland and Bournemouth with 9 and they've certainly be higher up the table had they turned their draws into wins. Everton haven't been fantastic on the road this season but they do come into this game off the back of winning their last two away games ag

Top 10 Unsung Heroes
Unsung Heroes are the players who always put in a good shift and play an important role for their team but don't always get the credit they deserved. The game of football has seen many of them over the years and especially during the modern era. Every successful team of course has the superstars who carry the team and get all the plaudits, but they also have the players who go under the radar and quietly go about their business. It's because they quietly go about their busine

Top 10 Controversial Premier League Moments
There have been many controversial moments in the Premier League over the years involving both players and managers whether they've lost their cool or have done something absolutely crazy. The majority of controversial moments in the Premier League have involved players because they're the ones who go out there to perform on the pitch and the most likely to lose their cool or let their emotions get the better of them. Any player or manager can lose their cool during a game of
